I remember stumbling upon this issue in a Sobey's grocery store in their magazine section. I saw some of the commercials for the show on FOX and was entranced. This issue hit the shelves a little bit before the show aired and I was mesmerized by it. This was a great first issue. The art by TY was amazing and just dead on, in style. This started a long legacy of great comics which would unfortunatly meet it's end when Peterson joined the crew. But in the eaerly days of this comic, these were the creme of the crop. No doubt about it.

This was a great opening issue! I always get tickled at Penquin trying to teach his goons manners and a good vocabulary! :p The appearance by the Joker made this issue even better! The ending is classic Penquin(him whining at Batman's feet!). Thats about all I remember, it's been so long since I've read it. Ya'll have made me want to go read it again! I comment more when I have.
