 They made a batman live action special with Kevin Conroy as Batman and Mark Hamill dressed up as the Joker?!

Wouldn't that just be awsome? I thought so too. And then we'll see Dick Grayson played by Freddie Prinze Jr!:p

I think actually that they are now both too old for the parts. Maybe in 1992 when the animated series began it would have been good, but Kevin Conroy is now 45 and Mark Hamill is about to turn 50.

FOR.. THE.. LOVE.. OF.. ALL... THAT'S... HOLY!!!!!!! NNNOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! NOT FREDDIE PRINZE JR. NEVER!!!!!! Seriously, though. I think he's gonna be the Fred McGinley of the 00's. I hope not to ever see another movie with him, and if he's in a Bat movie, I'll have to.

Personally I'm hoping that when the Scooby-Doo movie goes down in flames it will take Mr. Prinze Jr. with it. :)

Pollution, smog, the usual stuff you find in metropolis air. :p

Come on, you'd rather see Jude Law playing Dick Grayson? Or That guy from DUDE WHERE'S MY CAR? I think Freddie would make the character be as original and as campy as the 70's batman show with John West :)

Just imagine Freddie saying, "Holy tincans, Batman! The Joker must've left these here to lead us into a trap!"

Anyway, I still think I'd pay $10 to see a movie with Hamill as the joker. TO hear that laugh and voice coming from a human being. Man, that'd be freaky. You know what's funny, to me Hamill is the ONE and ONLY Joker. My older bro says Jack Nicholson is the only joker for him. Funny, huh?

I've mentioned before that I've read that when the Ham-man gets into the broadcast booth, it's a sight to see. Whether he reads for our favorite evil harlequin or the Green Goblin (Spiderman), he gets so into it that his face goes red as a plum and the veins and tendons in his neck puff out like a bellows. Imagine standing next to him in the v/o booth watching that spectacle.

Ehhh...he ain't a bad actor, bub, but IMO Nicholson is best when he's playing himself. Look at the movie As Good as it Gets. I usually eschew romantic comedy, but I'll watch ol' Jack in anything, so I gave it a shot, and liked it. In it he plays a writer with obsessive-compulsive disorder and a terminal hatred for everybody. When a female fan gushingly asks him how he writes so well for women, he says, "I think about what a man would do, then I take away all reason and accountability." Ha! Every two-bit Nicholson impersonator runs through his courtroom speech from A Few Good Men, it seems...but for my money that line is Jack's best and most memorable.

Tim Curry would have been a better Joker than Nicholson. He isn't nearly as well-known, and most of the audience didn't see the Joker, they saw Jack Nicholson in white makeup and prosthetics. Look at what Curry did in The Shadow when he was hunting down our hero with a machine gun. He looked insane and didn't require much makeup. He also had the cackling laugh down perfectly. I haven't seen it myself, but I'm told his performance in It were particularly frightening.

 And he was damn scary as Long John Silver in 'Muppet Treasure Island ......... damn scary ......... :p

if Mark Hamill was to have a starring role in a Batman live action movie would people not say "Look, it's an old Luke Skywalker playing the Joker!" ........??
much respect to the very talented Mr. Hamill but his face is kinda set in history thanks to Star Wars ......

once he's in make up i think he wouldn't be as recogniseable. for a year one movie my pick for a young joker would be Eric Mabius (Crow: Salvation) he does creepy-crazy pretty well at certain points.
