There is no point to have the Toonami genre, when u have no toonami shows, after this week its Batman: Beyond, Poke, Poke, Batman:Beyond. Toonami Trax sicken me. They should show another Toonami show or lose Toonami! More DBZ would make more sense, since Tenchi is more teen-like humor & GW doesnt fit into the comic mood of KWB.

It's not Toonami. It's trash, that's all. It's just name and a logo slapped on the block. I think it's a travesty to the name of TOONAMI.

I knew I was right in not to watch Toonami! Just a bad Americanized anime and something I never really thought would be anime...
...though I do not watch it, I think it's a pity that Batman has to be on this thing....I thought he deserved better...(I do respect Batman, I simply do not watch it).
I think that Toonami too is pointless in the fact it shows just Pokemon most of the time....I think there are enough animes on the networks to not need warrent an idea like Toonami.

If they were to keep it change it
Card Captors
Jackie Chan Adventures
Batman Beyond
Men In Black
or switch one of em out & put in DBZ.

I was hoping to watch a show like Big O or Tenchi or the edited Outlaw Star on KWB...no such luck, I guess.

It's pretty simple:
Kids'WB! Toonami = BAD
Cartoon Network Toonami = GOOD
The KWB Toonami is a joke. ONly Batman B. is worth watching on that.

Toonami is only worth watching on CN. Batman Beyond is fine on Kids WB because it was already on that network for a long time.

The only way we would see it is if it was edited quite badly. The way KWB is, Tenchi would be edited like CCS or worst, Plus KWB thinks that kids will not like it if it doesn't have action, which Tenchi has very little of.

Kids'WB! is so full of watered down action crud. Their weekend schedule is just embarrassing to what it was 4 years ago in 1997.

Unfortuantly, action crud is what gets the highest ratings-or producers have deep pockets to keep paying WB to keep a action show on the air...

It sicken's me how they treat their best show (Batman Beyond) like crap.

I just pretend that KWB Toonami does not exist and hope it never affects the real Toonami. It's much easier than complaining about it constantly.

KWB Toonami is to Toonami what Battlestar Galactica 1980 was to Battlestar Galactica. It's just better that we pretend it has nothing to do with the other.

The block brought nothing new. Though I never expected any shows from the Cartoon Network's Toonami, I expected a new block that brings something NEW and GOOD. All it does is bring a few shows that strictly for children all into one stupid block.(though BatMan Beyond seems to be a favorite to old-timers)
Its a useless block. Remaking the block will cost too much money; the best thing to do is just trash it and go back to the way it was. It wouldnt make a single diffrence.

Yeah, hopefully some new stuff are on the horizon for the real Toonami. I think Toonami's hit a road-bump, but it's going to come back bigger and better.

Batman
Superman
Jonny quest
Scooby Doo
Time we fight with everything pointless we got.
Except No substitutes just like the promo suggests. :D

When you say Jonny Quest, do you mean that new series that incorporated computer animation into the program? I never did like that series as much as the original, and I wouldn't be too fond to see it back in a Toonami block.

It's funny you mention "Scooby-Doo" becuase Scooby-Doo is going to Kids'WB! Toonami Weekdays beginning January 14th at 3:30pm. This is something I'm not really fond of either. Toonami is for action....but Scooby? I dunno...

"Scooby-Doo" definitely doesn't belong on anything that has the Toonami on it, regardless of what network. I'm displeased with Kids' WB!'s decision, but maybe this may lead to the end of Kids' WB!'s Toonami. This, of course, would be a good thing. Also, remember that "Click and Pick" thing you posted about a while ago Jim? One of the choices to join Kids' WB!'s line-up was "Scooby." I voted hoping the show would leave Cartoon Network. However, it may just be that KWB execs are doing this in hopes of gaining new fans, so they go see the movie this summer.

I thought the people who ran Toonami didn't take to "old" animation very well. So why is Scooby Doo even a consideration, let alone being put up as Toonami (I know it's KWB Toonami, but it's still being marketed as apart of CN's).
Is there anyone who actually DOES like that show? Why is it so popular? I never liked Scooby Doo, even when I was a kid. Didn't see the appeal. Then again, I grew up in the action oriented 80's era instead of the comical 70's era. But you have to wonder, the kids today that will be watching KWB and Toonami won't take to Scooby Doo very well. I know this is all to promote the upcoming crapfest movie (you know it will be), but it won't work.

Well, there's always the possibility that if the show does well for the network, that they would order a new "Scooby" series. The movie, on the other hand, looks like crap. It may continue the tradition of animation to film flops.

Just what we need, a new Scooby series. :( They'll probably hold this huge twenty-four hour marathon for the premiere or something.

Scooby Doo isn't really Toonami material... I used to love that show, so I know. It's not "action-y" enough for it. And we know it has to be action, action, action, and nothing else will do! I actually forgot that WB Toonami existed until I saw this thread! But I guess it is pretty forgetable, isn't it?
As long as they don't start airing shows such as Cardcaptors (Wait... they DID do that!), or Pokemon (Oops, those friday specials) on CN's Toonami, it doesn't really upset me, since I don't watch it, anyway.

I thought kids didn't like old animation. Isn't that why we lost the the great Mobile Suit Gundam? The name of Toonami is destoryed futher with Scooby-Doo.

NOT SCOOBY DOO!!!! I'm so tired of that show since it comes on Cartoon Network so often, or at least it used to. Occasionally I watch Jackie Chan Adventures on there and they're taking it off for Scooby...Now I have absolutely no reason at all to turn on the WB....

This is old news, but I rarely ever watched KWB Toonami anyway. Sure, it's a disgrace to CN Toonami and the good folks at WS, but I really could care less about the junk they decide to air there.
I prefer to think that KWB Toonami exists in its own little world....

Never thought I hear that phrase "Scooby-Doo on Toonami". I try not to think of KWB's Toonami as "Toonami". It makes better sense that way.

Actually, Jackie Chan Adventures will be staying on the KWB Toonami. The show being kicied off for this (hopefully) temporary event is Cardcaptors, which has already been gone for a few weeks anyways. I really hope this step towards KWB DROPPING the whole Toonami thing. The KWB Toonami is just wrong in everyway. Why this happened in the first place is beyond me. It's utter garbage...
The host of Toonami, TOM, never say's a thing on Kids WB Toonami. He just dances around. That's dumb. And no one likes Pokemon anymore, so why show so much of it?
James Harvey

That is what pisses me off the most. Tom doesn't acknowledge the CN Toonami at all. This is a good cross promotional gimmick and KWB is flushing it even deeper down the crapper.

Sure people like the show or else it wouldnt be the #1 watched show on Saturday mornings.

Technically TOM spoke twice on Kids WB in those Ctoons commercials. he said "That's awesome" on a Saturday and on Toonami he said "awesome". Would that count? Plus Sara speaks more on KWB than on CN in the intros can you believe it.

When is Cardcaptors coming back?
KWB Toonami was a cross promotion attempt that was left over after most of the crossovers cool down. KWB Toonami will be around until at least September unless something else comes along.
Imagine if The WB still had Baby Blues, The PJs, The Oblongs and Mission Hill and called themselves "Adult Swim" on Friday nights.
"Scooby-Doo... Only on Toonami" Where's my gun!

I should hope that the episode of Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law where Shaggy is busted for possession "accidently" found its' way into the tape machine in place of the episode of Scooby Doo the children were hoping for.
"Mommy? Why are there pink bunnies and hippie colors running around Shaggy's head?"
