If you're up late or want to tape an entertaining comedy, International House (1933) is on Turner Classic Movies tonight at 1:30 AM CST / 2:30 AM EST.
It's about a gathering of people in a hotel in Wuhu, China, to bid on the "new" invention of television. Among the stars are W.C. Fields, George Burns, Gracie Allen, Franklin Pangborn, Rudy Vallee, and Bela Lugosi. Burns & Allen and Fields are great in this movie, but Cab Calloway steals the show with his performance of "Reefer Man."
There is a bit of connection to animation as Sterling Holloway (voice of Winnie The Pooh and the stork in Dumbo) appears as a dancing sailor in the "China Tea Cup and Coffee Mug" production number.
An animated segment from the Fleischers would have fit very well in this movie.
