The first episode of All Purpose Cultural Cat Girl Nuku Nuku aired last Sunday at 9:30 on KTEH, San Jose, California's PBS station. The second episode is this week (Sunday, July 7) at the same time, after Red Dwarf and before Survivors and Doctor Who.

Please, discuss.

I hope those of you who live outside KTEH's broadcast radius don't feel left out, but if you do, petition your local PBS station to pick up this series and other anime programming. :D

Wish one of my local PBS channels (which I hardly ever watch except when "Great Performances" is showing one of my favorite operas, like "Carmen" or "Jesus Christ Superstar") would get some anime like that. I'm jealous!

i saw Yuzo Takada's Nuku-Nuku a while back. i loved it. Nuku is just one of those ultra kawaii characters that you just fall in love with upon first seeing.

i really don't know what to say about the series, but i am taping the show and plan to keep it. the mother of ryo(something) is a weird one. i think this is going to be one of those fun, cute, uplifiting type of anime. i wonder what they are going to show after the 6 episode run is over. i really don't think they'll show new anime, so they will probably rerun another series. Lain perhaps?
