I finally got to Wal-Mart today and I turned the video department upside-down, but I didn't find "Porky Pig Tales"! So I just want to make sure, is the tape still in print? And has anyone seen it anywhere else than Wal-Mart (not a Super one)?

This tape is no longer in print. You might want to try to find a copy at your local video store or library.

These are the cartoons on the tape:

The Awful Orphan
The Pest That Came To Dinner
Jumpin' Jupiter
My Little Duckaroo
Dog Collared
China Jones

The tape quality is excellent!! I suggest checking the video stores first. If the library has a copy, it probably won't be a s worn as the video store copy.

The print of Dog Collared is so good you can see the clump of hair (?) stuck under the title cell! It moves arround a little too. I really recommend the tape too, I think China Jones is a really good cartoon, it's one of my favorite parodies.

Unfortunately, many Wal-Marts, at least where I live, are getting rid of "bargain bins," the best places to find old, cheap videos.

I wanted the tape for a certain 1959 cartoon, but my local regular Wal-Mart didn't have it. I don't think there is a Super Wal Mart in my area.

Where I looked, it was not a bin. Scattered on the bottom shelf of a rack were videos all mixed up in piles, what seemed to be a mix of anime and movies.

My WalMart usually doesn't have the video bins, just video racks, but during the brief period where they sold this video and some others, they had a couple of bins in the Video Dept. Then they got rid of the bins again when they were done selling those particular videos. So I guess what I'm saying is...Keep your eyes open for those bins!

see 'remaindered' (as in 'what nobody else could sell, so we got it cheap')

short form: don't expect to see that tape in a retail store

I haven't been to my Wal-Mart in a while, but it's no big deal since I already HAVE the tape. Does anyone remember the LT 3-Pack? I remember getting that as a souvenier on my way home from Toronto (in Canada)... What a lovely one too! :p I also got TEX AVERY'S SCREWBALL CLASSICS 3 and 4 there. I remember some guy said he bought the pack, which had the three original boxes, but the Porky tape had another Bugs one!

FYI-they also had SO many copies of TEX AVERY 2, they were selling them for $5 EACH!
