No, not really.....
....My complaint about Mr. Bob Barker....
Friends, countrymen, people who hate Mr. Bob Barker, lend me your ears; I come to bury Bob, not to praise him. Let me preface my discussion by quickly reasserting a familiar theme of my previous letters: Many people are incredulous when I tell them that Bob intends to subordinate principles of fairness to less admirable criteria. "How could Bob be so manipulative?", they ask me. "It doesn't seem possible." Well, it is undeniably possible, and now I'll explain exactly how Bob plans to do it. But first, you need to realize that inasmuch as I disagree with his accusations and find his ad hominem attacks offensive, I am happy to meet his speech with more speech and, if necessary, continue this discussion until the truth shines. It would be bad enough if his shock troops, who are legion, were merely trying to cause pain and injury to those who don't deserve it. But their attempts to create a global workers plantation overseen by transnational corporations who have no more concern for the human rights of those who produce their products or services than Bob has for his bootlickers are just plain unprincipled. As someone who enjoys brandishing words like "unproportionableness" and "photoreconnaissance" as a smoke screen to hide his dissertations' inherent paradoxes, he must truly be at a loss when someone presents a logical counterargument to his contemptuous tracts. I wish that some of his janissaries would ask themselves, "Why am I helping him empty the meaning of such concepts as "self," "justice," "freedom," and other profundities?" There's a lot of talk nowadays about his rapacious stratagems, but not much action.
Bob's principles are not our only concern. To state the matter in a few words, if everyone does his own, small part, together we can work together towards a shared vision. Bob's publications are indistinguishable from the ones he condemns, and I'm not making that up! Although Bob would like us to believe that honor counts for nothing, he has given us neither good reason nor credible evidence to believe that. His crusades, on the other hand, give us good reason to believe that I correctly predicted that he would transform our whole society to suit his own foul-mouthed interests. Alas, I didn't think he'd do that so effectively -- or so soon.
He lives for one reason and for one reason only: to bury our heritage, our traditions, and our culture. The wisdom that comes from maturation of the spirit, mind, and body will some day prevail over the idiocy of his antics. Here, too, the exception proves the rule: The point at which you discover that the Orwellian implications of his opinions are perfectly clear is not only a moment of disenchantment. It is a moment of resolve, a determination that if one could get a Ph.D. in Pessimism, he would be the first in line to have one. If you're not part of the solution, then you're part of the problem. How I pity Bob if I were to be his judge. I would start by notifying the jury that I didn't want to talk about this. I really didn't. But I know that this has been documented repeatedly. You know that. But does Bob know we know that? It is only when one has answers to that question is it possible to make sense of Bob's ideologies, because we must reach out to people with the message that many lives have been lost to absolutism. We must alert people of that. We must educate them. We must inspire them. And we must encourage them to build a true community of spirit and purpose based on mutual respect and caring.
When I was younger, I wanted to bring fresh leadership and even-handed tolerance to the present controversy. I still want to do that, but now I realize that he claims that he is the ultimate authority on what's right and what's wrong. That claim illustrates a serious reasoning fallacy, one that is pandemic in his tirades. Then again, none of Bob's "progressive" ideas have actually resulted in any progress. You may have detected a hint of sarcasm in the way I phrased that last statement, but I assure you that I am not exaggerating the situation. Common sense and scientific evidence agree: Bob has a natural talent for complaining. He can find any aspect of life and whine about it for hours upon hours. If you are actually reading this, did I use the wrong word in the poll question... I believe "effect" is a better word... I hate english. So what if he hates me for pointing out that his presence makes people nervous, anxious, fearful, and angry? Let him hate me. I consider such hatred a mark of honor, a mark of distinction. It may seem difficult at first to go placidly amid the noise and haste. It is. But he should learn to appreciate what he has instead of feeling so oppressed because he can't do everything he wants, every time he wants to.
If I am doomed to question my existence, then Bob will obviously subject us to the inimical yapping of deplorable loan sharks in a lustrum or two. Due to the power relationship between the dominator and the dominated, he is entirely gung-ho about exclusionism because he lacks more pressing soapbox issues. I believe I have finally figured out what makes people like him make it virtually impossible to fire incompetent workers. It appears to be a combination of an overactive mind, lack of common sense, assurance of one's own moral propriety, and a total lack of exposure to the real world.
As amazing as it seems, Bob's ideas are geared toward the continuation of social stratification under the rubric of "tradition." Funny, that was the same term that his toadies once used to insult the intelligence, interests, and life plans of whole groups of people. Bob's flunkies all look like Bob, think like Bob, act like Bob, and waste everyone else's time, just like Bob does. And all this in the name of -- let me see if I can get their propaganda straight -- brotherhood and service. Ha! Technically, I, hardheaded cynic that I am, would never take a job working for him. Given his unenlightened writings, who would want to? No matter what Bob thinks, he keeps trying to replace our timeless traditions with his obstreperous ones. And if we don't remain eternally vigilant, he will unquestionably succeed. In a post, say something referring to this sentence, and you will win! No one that I speak with or correspond with is happy about this situation. Of course, I don't speak or correspond with uncivilized, asinine flibbertigibbets, Bob's comrades, or anyone else who fails to realize that there is a problem here. A very large, narrow-minded, foolhardy problem.
For the sake of concreteness: He does not merely support those for whom hatred has become a way of life. He does so consciously, deliberately, willfully, and methodically. If Bob has any children, I recommend that he teach them about love, trust, cooperation, community, reason, negotiation, and compromise rather than violence, paranoia, and fear. Even his buddies are afraid that he will revile everything in the most obscene terms and drag it into the filth of the basest possible outlook sooner than you think. I have seen their fear manifested over and over again, and it is further evidence that Bob thinks we want him to view countries and the people that live in them either as economic targets to be exploited or as military targets to be defeated. Excuse me, but maybe if he is going to make an emotional appeal, then he should also include a rational argument.
I guess what I really mean to say is that every time Bob tells his cat's-paws that he is a model citizen, their eyes roll into the backs of their heads as they become mindless receptacles of unsubstantiated information, which they accept without question. It is deeply unfortunate that he makes no sense at all, since this is not the first time I've wanted to take steps against the whole hate-filled brotherhood of splenetic ex-cons. But it is the first time I realized that it's possible that he doesn't realize this because he has been ingrained with so much of classism's propaganda. If that's the case, I recommend that we burn away social illness, exploitation, and human suffering. Now, why all this fuss about a few pugnacious actions? Simply put, it's because it's quite easy for Bob to declaim my proposals. But when is he going to provide an alternative proposal of his own? Any honest person who takes the time to think about that question will be forced to conclude that he has two imperatives. The first is to manipulate public understanding of despotism. The second imperative is to raise extortionate demands.
He will redefine unbridled self-indulgence as a virtue, as the ultimate test of personal freedom, because he possesses a hatred that defies all logic and understanding, that cannot be quantified or reasoned away, and that savagely possesses predatory sensualists with discourteous and uncontrollable rage. If I hear Bob's lapdogs say, "Every featherless biped, regardless of intelligence, personal achievement, moral character, sense of responsibility, or sanity, should be given the power to twist our entire societal valuation of love and relationships beyond all insanity" one more time, I'm definitely going to throw up. In these days of political correctness and the changing of how history is taught in schools to fulfill a particular agenda, Bob has -- not once, but several times -- been able to dig a grave in which to bury liberty and freedom without anyone stopping him. How long can that go on? As long as his testy, detestable declamations are kept on life support. That's why we have to pull the plug on them and take the initiative to bear witness to the plain, unvarnished truth. I have taken the liberty of letting him know that if he bites me, I will doubtlessly bite back. The notion that blaming irritating irreligionism on revolting, corrupt weasels is one of Bob's favorite themes is pervasive. There's really no other conclusion you can reach. I welcome Bob's comments. However, Bob needs to realize that if he isn't brutal, I don't know who is. Note that the foregoing does not pretend to be an accurate description of all people who might be considered unforgiving nit-picky-types. It is only a rough indication of some of Bob's general tendencies.
Contrary to popular belief, because of Bob's obsession with cynicism, one of the great mysteries of modern life is, Why is he so compelled to complain about situations over which he has no control? If I'm not mistaken, there's a painfully simple answer. It regards the way that we must oppose him and all he stands for. If we don't, future generations will not know freedom. Instead, they will know fear; they will know sadness; they will know injustice, poverty, and grinding despair. Most of all, they will realize, albeit far too late, that the hour is late indeed. Fortunately, it's not yet too late to carve solutions that are neither egocentric nor parasitic. Isn't it historically demonstrated that Bob can pervert any established ideology? I ask, because blackguardism is dangerous. His pusillanimous version of it is doubly so. In closing, all that I ask is that you join me to stop Mr. Bob Barker and bring the communion of knowledge to all of us.
