Daria returns on.....Noggin?

Hey. I know I am supposed to be on a sabbatical from the board until August, but I discovered some interesting news. They are seemingly starting to show Daria on Noggin (actually, Noggin and the N as they like to call themselves these days), or at least the next couple of days. Right now, they are showing "Is It Fall Yet?" as a marathon, and tomorrow seems to be a marathon of just episodes. But hey, at least it is back on the air again after all MTV did to it.

I just watched 'Is it fall yet' on Noggin (the dummies at Nick are calling it "The N" and airing a bunch of lame teen-issue shows in a pathetic attempt to be cool:rolleyes:). Anyhoo, it really ticked me off because, although the occasional curse was left in, all the dialogue involving sex was cut out.
Personally, I don't know why Noggin picked up a series with content it doesn't approve of. The scenes they deleted weren't even that provactive. I really wish that the part where Jane's room-mate hit on her was left in, I liked that part a lot!

It was good to see Daria: Is it Fall Yet? again. I've always liked that movie, as it portrays my own high school/summer experiences perfectly. However, my mind is boggled as to how Noggin thinks curse words are okay for younger audiences, but awknowledging the fact that people with different sexual orientations exist is not. The scenes with Jane's new bisexual friend were very tame and funny, and I don't think it was a necessary cut. I guess we won't be seeing the ep. where Tom and Daria plan on having sex... >_<

IMHO, if they cant show Daria uncut and full then their just ruining the show. If the "N" or whatever cant show the original why air it at all?
