Hey guys, now that we have our avatars back can we start the PPG movie avatar contest?

I think Jon wants to give away prizes, but I don't know how he will do it.

what about an Orbit prize?

Like the winner leaves thier Orbit ID and Jon can send the winner(s) a rare or expensive cToon.

Sure Orbit discussions are banned from the Cartoon Cartoon board but, the prize will have no retail value, no shipping, and you don't have to buy anything.

I think you can do prizes that way. I'll donate a cToon or two if so.

I'm putting up the Buttercup one that I made a loooooooooooooong time ago up for the contest. It celebrates the PPG Movie AND July 4th!

Actually I have several Powerpuff Books to give away. They were donated by some friends at Random House publishing. I will see if I'm legally allowed to have this contest on Toon Zone though.

OK I found a good one, but I'll put it up on the 5th because it'll be on too short tonight for tomorrow. I'm going to have a patriotic one tomorrow and my PPG avatar will be up the following day.

I'm going to also be patriotic for the 4th. I'll put up the Sheep Flag avatar on the 4th. And my Buttercup one shall return.

Anyway, I hope you don't mind if I changed my avatar to Buttercup. I don't think it's much of a big deal. Just don't change your avatar when the poll is up.

Heres my avatar for the contest! It's Patriotic Mojo! Wearing all Red white and blue with an American flag in his hand! He doesnt look too happy though...happy 4th of July tommorrow! Oh by the way, I edited this pic myself.

I concur- what a cute little fellow! Now why couldn't he have stayed that way?

Oh, I know why- because then the PPG show would be minus one of it's best villains.

Still, there's no question that it's come at a cost....

For anybody who hasn't been in an avatar contest before, lemmie enlighten you.

YOU DON"T CHANGE YOUR AVATAR IN THE MIDDLE OF A CONTEST. People need to see your avatar to judge it.

Also, Sheepfan, avatar contests ussually work like this:

1. Somebody announces the Avatar contest
2. For a week or so, everybody who wants to particapate(SP?) posts a message saying "Gee gosh golly, vote for my avatar!" (In more or less words.)
3. For about one more week, everybody e-mails the person running the contest (Who can't enter.) whith 3 picks. one pick gets 3 points, one pick gets 2 points, one pick gets 1 point.
4. The person running the contest tallys up the votes and posts the winner.
5 Everybody gloats over the winner and goes back to the avatar thread, asking for another avatar contest.

Consider that Sheepfan. A little more work, but a little more fair as well.

First of all, Sheepfan and the Mods arn't doing it like that yet. I was submitting my thoughts on how it should be done. And you don't email the pics to sheepfan, you use your entry for your avatar, and you email your votes for your favroite avatars and the person running the contest tally them up.

I think we have all of our entries by now. So I think we should start a voting thread.

I think we should do it sort of like what Spaz said but, using a thread and not e-mail.
