So would you look forward to a fourth installment of Indiana Jones, with, of course, Harrison Ford? Ford as himself stated that he would be set for doing an fourth movie, and that there's been work to get one going, only no one can agree on a story! Or at least find one good enough to them. So if, and when, they do get around to filming, are you, or aren't you, going to be excited about it?

If Sean Connery can do action movies in his 90's, why not Harrison Ford?

Just to let you guys know, according to an article on Spielberg in TIME magazine dated June 2002, Spielberg and Lucas are going to start filming the fourth and final INDIANA JONES flick within the next calander year.

Negotiations to have the major cast and crew from the last 3 films is in the final stages, the story is scripted and ready, Harisson Ford has taken to the gym and a personal trainer to get into shape.

Look for Sean Connery to return in a cameo as Spielberg has valiantly landed the veteran Bond to reprise his role as Jones's cantancarous father.

Spielberg said in the interview that "I had so much fun and had experienced so much personal joy on those films that it can only mean more fun to do one more-George is ready, Harrison is ready and I need to do something lighter to keep my reflexes limber".

Considering that Spielberg is at the top of his game, fresh off the fantastic reviews he recieved for MINORITY REPORT (I'll be reviewing the film for this network this week), looks like he's gonna keep the ball rolling. On a personal high note since his Oscar wins for Schindler's list (every film he has done since has been phenomenal), it looks like our greatest American director is showing us he still has more wonderful rabbits up his sleeve and has become the preeminant dreamer in Hollywood.

Well, it looks like Hannibal Lecter was right. "All good things to those who wait..."

I think a forth and final one is required. I think that while you could see Last Crusade having a final ending as such (galloping into the sunset), it would be nice to have one more with Indy a little older. With the Young Indiana Jones, the story has turned into a saga. One more with Indy a little older could be interesting - and Sean needs one more outing too!!!

I'm very excited for Indy 4!

But has anyone else heard the rumors that Calista Flockhart (Ford's current girlfriend) is going to be in the movie as his love interest? What do you thing about that? My thoughts - big mistake!

I think I recall someone asking Ford about Flockhart, and he said something like either she at the moment wasn't planned to be in the movie. I could be wrong though, but I agree no, big mistake. And half the fun in this movie is going to being seeing not only Ford again, but hopefully Connery, woooo!!!!!!!!!!!!

I found this little nugget here (http://www.film-fix.com/news.asp?id=300):

Actress Calista Flockhart is apparently planning to team up with boyfriend Harrison Ford in the next Indiana Jones movie. Filming on Indiana Jones 4 is due to begin in May 2004, with the film looking more adult than its 1980s predecessors. A source says, "Harrison Ford had only one demand when he was approached about doing a fourth Indiana Jones movie - that Calista be written into the new movie. Luckily, Steven Spielberg and George Lucas loved the idea. They think Calista will be a perfect romantic interest for Indiana." And having the ex-Ally McBeal star on board solved one problem for the filmmakers. The source says, "The Indy team had no idea what to do with Indy for the fourth movie. Bringing Calista on board gave them inspiration and they dreamed up the whole story in just a few hours. Getting Calista into the movie was the kick-in-the-pants the guys needed."

Ick :p

I agree- I have no interest in seeing Calista in an Indy film. Oh well. I'm jacked for Indy 4 either way. Indy with Calista is better than no Indy without Calista.

Harrison Ford denied the rumours of Flockhart being in the film on Access Hollywood this last week.

Though I wouldn't want her in the film, becuase she's a sucky actress, she would fit nicely....in Indiana's back pack :p

Maybe Calista can play a scary skeleton or something- no make-up required!!! :D

Seriously, don't want to see Calista "I need a meal" Flockhart in the Indy movies at all. Geez, if your that desperate have Karen Allen come back- at least she's talented...

I'd love to see another Indy w/ Harrison Ford & Sean Connery (whoo-hoo!). I just hope it'll live up to the other three movies...I still have bad memories of how the Batman franchise was ruined by "Batman Forever" and especially "Batman & Robin" (but that's a completely new thread--which, I believe, was recently discussed). Then again, no Indy movie could be as terrible as "B&R."
