Everyone get in your transporters and shoot off to headquarters. We've got a bullitin. It's Fresh Question time!
REALLY good Superhero games are slim to none, specifically for Batman/Superman. So Riddle me this:
If a Justice League game were to be in the works, how would YOU design it??

You know, there actually WAS a Justice Leauge game made during the time of the Super Nintendo. It was a fighter, and had all the main players. I can't remember who made it, but I do remember that it was fairly mediocre.

Well first of all it would be made for the PC as well as the consoles, that is what always pisses me off. They hardly ever make them for the PC...

It would have to be by Capcom and be in the style of the Final Fight games. That would absolutely rock. The choosable characters could be the lineup from the upcoming JLA show with the bosses being Joker, Luthor, etc. Besides each superhero having their own moves and abilities, there'd have to be a whole bunch of weapons and powerups like in Final Fight. Basically, I'd just want to see Final Fight, but with JLA characters and settings. That'd be so awesome.

I'm a Marvel vs. Capcom nut, so I've always thought the next step in the series sould be Marvel vs. DC. Supes vs. the Hulk, Captain America vs. Batman, Joker vs. Doctor Doom, Mxyzptlk vs. Howard the Duck... ah, bliss.

I love fighting games, but I think it would be cool to play a "platform" JLA game.
I never heard the phrase "platform" used before visiting IGN.com, but aparently, it means games like Mario Bros. and Donkey Kong Country.
It would have to be multi-player, so that at least four people can play together at the same time, like in the Streets of Rage series and the X-Men arcade game from...years ago. I always loved games like that.
Of course it would have to involve more than just going through the levels and beating up villains. There should be some kind of strategy involved, and a bunch of minor task that have to be completed along with the main task, like in Donkey Kong 64, you had to collect the colored bananas, the golden bananas, the banana fairies, blueprint pieces, etc.
And of course, there would have to be "fighter" mode too. :O)

I'd either have a bunch of levels tailored to specific Charcaters (like in the old SNES game. Spiderman and X-Men in Arcades revenge). Or just have one game where you can pick any character but some levels are easier with certain characters. The original Justice League game was either made by, or released by Acclaim if I remember right.

I've always wanted to see a "JLA VS. Street Fighter" game.

First I hate fighting games.
Call me an old man But I hate them, I think they don't do much but allow kids to release agression better spent beating the tar out of each other on the grid-iron by golly ;)
but any-who
I think the JLA would be best done as a RPG. You start the game with a basic group of leagures or even better your own character and the justice league.
There is a running plot through the game but also assigments and you have to choose which leaguers are best for each assignment.
Example.
Your fighting Circe (mmmmm Circe I love you you sexy thang.)
and you know she's magical. So who do you send.
Not Superman unless you want him to be turned into super Platypus by Circe (mmmmmm Circe)
You Send Wonder Woman and some other Leagures she'll have a hard time fighting.
Martian Man Hunter, Plastic Man and Aquaman or Zuriel.
I would limit most battles at first to four leagures with some big battles allowing up to 7.
The total Leaguers I'll allow access too is about 20..that's right 30. Picture the combos you can pull on 4 man teams.
Stealth: Batman, Huntress, Black Canary and Green Arrow!
Cosmic: Superman, Wonder woman, Martan Man Hunter and Captian Marvel.
Assault: Flash, Green Latern, Fire Storm and Black Lighting
Smarts: Atom, Steel, Batman and Blue Beatle.
Of course the game throws a mOnkey wrench in, occasionaly team members will be on private missions. If a Member dies or is engered you can use acess too them. Also you have to have members to keep the watch tower running and decied who's on Monitor duty (Yes Green Latern, its your turn again!)

I think it should be kinda like a multi-player/character Zelda: Ocarina of Time. It should be in the animated style, w/ the heros from the show. And each character has their own city to add to the setting. Each hero would have their own respective powers and abilities, but no one would have the advantage over another. Loads of action, but a great plot and designs and it should be a hit. Just like the show:)

I would love to see a Streets Of Rage Theme for the JLA Game. Because It is cool having more than one person walk around hit people. Plus Streets of Rage was awesome.
A first person game might be good also.

We need the JLA fighting game to be like a capcom 2d fighter. Heck yea. It's like Marvel vs. DC vs. Capcom vs. SNK vs. Yer mother kinda crazy crossover stuff.
An RPG/Adventure game might be cool too.

It'd simply have to be an RPG or a board game. It's the Justice LEAGUE! It HAS to be multi-player.
Fantastic Four might have made a decent computer game (but didn't), with four controllers. But Justice LEAGUE has to be a board game for up to 7 players, not counting the villains!
There'd be a set of scenarios "episodes". In each, the villains would get a mission... gather all these parts to build a super-weapon, kidnap the president, destroy the world... all the usual. This goal would be known only to the villains, at first.
The heroes would move first. They'd have to split up because they wouldn't know where the villains were going to strike. Then the villains would place their baddies for a round of combat.
The final turn would be a giant battle. How could it be otherwise?
Oh, and did I mention you'd get a bunch of cool plastic figures like the X-Men game came with a few years back?

Of all the Batman video games almost everyone agrees that the best one is The Batman and Robin Adventures for SNES. The reason for its sucess was that nearly every episode paid tribute to an actual episode. The objectives of each level were very in character with what people expected from BTAS.
Level 1: Fight the Joker in a playhouse and then a fight atop a moving roller coaster
Level 2: Fight Poison Ivy in her garden, green house and fight her giant plant.
And scarecrow fighting civillains affected by gas and fighting him in his blimp!
Riddler fighting him in the Maze of the Minatour and in the virtual chess board!!
The Justice League game NEEDS to be made by Konami. And should be styled after specific episodes. Plus all the characters should be playable but only according to each situtation. So Batman wouldn't be going up against Darkseid or something crazy like that.
