Whatever Happened To Kitty Bobo?

Remember him? That really good world premiere short that aired last time? Cartoon Network said they really liked the KB short? It was unsure if new shorts would be made? Where's KB.... :(

I'm with you Dub. It seems other cartoonists at the network, like Mark O'Hare, want it to be a series. Maybe it has a chance as a show, I mean the creator of Kitty Bobo is working on Dexter.

I think that "Kitty Bobo" would make a much better Cartoon Cartoon than "Kids Next Door". The original short had an interesting charm to it. I'd love to see more.

Yes, Kitty Bobo had my vote last year. The short was great. It was hip, and Mark O'Hare works on the Powerpuff Girls now. Rumors have been swarming around the potiental of a series, but nothing is confirmed. When I grilled people at Cartoon Network on the issue I got the response that "Anything is possible". If anything I can assume that is better than saying no way in hell :)

Hehe, that's good news. And cartoons from the 2000 Big Pick keep resurrecting: Longhair and Doubledome are getting another pilot it seems.

It's very funny; CN seems to be giving all the Big Pick cartoons I liked a chance.

Longhair and Doubledome was my favorite from the original, and while I have no idea if it's an indication of a series, another short has me thrilled.

I also liked last years' Utica Cartoon, and I've heard that there will be a Christmas special.

As for Kitty Bobo...I really, really liked this, and I know that a lot of other people did too. Considering how many CN people seemed to like it, I'd say if we show enough support, it could eventually become a series.(I wouldn't have said this if not Robot Jones, which I never thought had a chance in hell of becoming a series, IS becoming a series.)

Really? I had heard that they were planning on working on another pilot a while back, so maybe this is what became of it. I loved that cartoon, it just had a great mix of surreal and mundane ideas that really struck me the right way, not to mention the flat delivery of the voices just sounded perfect to me.

If RJ becomes a series 2 years after the pilot aired can't KB become a series in 2003?
