I haven't bought a comic in a long time, the last few things I bought were Some Ultimate X-Men and spider-Man Books, along with the Wolvie Origin.
One of my favorite comics was always Dead Pool, I used to buy every issue that came out but they stopped selling it at the books tore I used to go to. So i'm asking is there still a monthly Dead Pool Comic ?
If not, what happened ? And how did it end ? If it's still on going, what exactly have i missed that would be important if i wnated to get back into it. ?
Is anyone out there as big of a DP fan as me ? Whata re soe of your favorite moments ? I'm even rooting for a DP Movie...
Wade Wilson..Uh I mean Dead Pool.
This is the next movie I want to see as well, for those of you who don't know who Dead Pool is I'll fill you in best I can.
He's a product of the Weapon X Program, he used to have this indestructable skin but found an antidote for it and now just has all these scars, he's an assain/theif(basicly a freelancer) for hire, who ever pays the most gets his services, he lives with a Blind wise crack'n old Lady named Blind Alfred (Blind Al). He has a romantic interest in Typhoid Mary, another assasin, he's got a friend named Weasal.
And the man him self has three times the wit of Spider-Man, no where near the mercy, he usually does all this funny stuff to Alfred because she's blind but she gets him back almost just as worse, Dead Pool's kind of like the class clown that can also kick your ass while cracking wise. He has a minature alterego named Wittle Wade that he talks to sometimes off Pannel.
I think a Dead Pool Movie would be both hillarious and action packed. It'd be the way better than any Marvel Movie to date if done right. As for who could play the part I'd actually go for Brad Pitt , who's shown in his diversity in roles that he could play this kind of quick witted tough guy.
Just as an example of one of the crazy stories that thsi movie could be based in I'm goiung to tell you about one of my faves.
Through some crazy events, a lame villian uses a machine to bring back some of the Dead Marvel hero's and villians. Except he brings back a bunch of lame-o's. Everyone from Bucky to The Whizzer. Wade(DeadPool) while on a mission to get money for a maid for Blind Al, runs into some of the used to be dead guys, and after other stuff tracks them back to the villians lair where he finds out they are all artificial life forms so he hillariously kills them all while making jokes, then he gets to the villian and is about to kill him to, but the villian strikes a deal with him.
The next page has Wade sitting back with Al thanking him for the maids, and it turns out all the maids are clones of Gwen Stacy.
And that's why Marvel should make a film for Dead Pool. Are they still doing the comic ?? I haven't been able to find it for a while.
