See More Speedy Cartoons This Week!

Tomorrow, Thursday the 27th, CN will be playing "It's Nice to Have a Mouse Around the House" on the Bugs & Daffy Show. This is the first pairing of Daffy Duck and Speedy Gonzales!

Then, this Friday, the 28th, catch "The Spy Swatter", a Nickelodeon debut, on the Bugs & Daffy Show. This is the cartoon with Daffy as a secret agent, trying to get a "Super-Mouse" cheese formula from Speedy.

Finally, Saturday, the 29th, if you missed CN's showing of it almost two years ago, now's you're chance to see it again. On Saturday's Looney Tunes Show, see "Speedy Ghost to Town"!


That's the rest for this week. Wow, Speedy on FIVE times on Cartoon Network in one week. That's gotta be a new record. :D :cool:

I saw A Taste of Catnip on the Looney Tunes Show last Saturday. I hadn't seen that cartoon in ages.

I remember "It's Nice to Have a Mouse Around the House" from the WB. That was a good one. Daffy wasn't too bitter there. Just an exterminator doing his job. Also, there was a brief appearance of Sylvester and Granny. It was clearly one of the better Daffy/Speedys.

5 showings, and Speedy did not even star in a large number of cartoons! Truly amazing. :)

There were lots of Speedy cartoons! Of course, if you compare them to Bugs Bunny or Porky Pig, the number is small by comparison. Speedy had 40.

Yes, I was comparing the number to characters such as those, and others including Popeye, Tom & Jerry, Woody Woodpecker, etc.
