who has the dvd? are the extras any good? what about the deleted scenes? I forget if there was supose to be 2 or just the arkam scene. Was that cool? howd it look, was it just story boards or alittle animation? what about dialogue? Oh, and i know this wasnt part of the extras, but if dini and timm and the rest of the gang did a commentary track over the movie, that would have rocked! peace.

Deleted Scenes: Storyboards with some talking.
And the commentary..yeah, they did do one over the movie. Feature-Length Commentary, with them conversing back and forth over the movie. I know Bruce Timm, Dini and 2 others were talking, but I can't remember the other 2 (maybe Rucka?).
The other extras are Character BIO's, Trivia (way easy), Behind-The-Scenese Documentary, Animated Tests, Music Video (CRASH), & Production notes.
It's a good DVD..

I wanted to mention that the "deleted footage" contains nothing from the cut movie, sadly. And I can't recall if it was mentioned in the commentary or not, but I do not recall hearing it in the commentary.

they don't mention anything about the edits. they act as if nothing had happened. I'd love to see a un-edited released w/ a commentary..I'd watch that first..

The other two are Glen Murakami and Eric Radomski. They don't mention the edits (which I'm sure they were forbidden from doing). The xtras are good. Just two scenes cut for time. One scene being the Akrham scene that's in the comic adaptation. The other is a show down between Price and Wayne that took place after Joker crashes Bruce's party.

Radomski? Wow. Must be interesting to hear his take, since he's been absent since BTAS.

Yeah, I absolutely loved to hear every word of Timm and Dini talking about the movie......until the evil edit scenes came up. That was certainly a downer.

I think it'd be really cool to see a feature on the DVD that compares scenes from the edited and unedited versions, playing them back to back and pointing out all the specific changes (weren't there like 50 or 60 in all?)... and maybe Timm or Dini explaining why each change was made. Some of them were really silly, like when they cut out Ghoul grabbing Dana's hair, or changing "Bat-Fart" to "Bat-Koot." I would just love to hear the two of them talking about the changes, I'm sure they feel even more pissed off about it than we do.

I'm almost 100% sure that the grabbing dana's hair was left In. I'll edit this post later..I'll watch that scene sometime today.. :)

There's a shot of him holding her by the hair that's in both versions... but the edited version cuts out the shot where he actually grabs her hair and pulls her back.
