Do you like my new one? It's the Fox from a FOX & CROW cartoon. You'll see why I can't say what short it's from, by reading my signature.

Thad,
I have a feeling the short your avatar is from is "Way Down Yonder in the Corn".

The image was from that one site that had the Fox & Crow clip. It was in TOTALLY TOONED IN's image section. Also, thanks Matt. Have you seen the cartoon? Also, it's nice to see that somebody is using the avatars I posted a while back. I'll post that ZIP file again, if somebody wants to use the ones I made.

Sorry to say, I haven't seen the cartoon. I'm taking an educated guess because the plot of the cartoon concerns the crow trying to steal corn from the fox's cornfield and the fox (from your avatar) appears to be wearing a farmer's overalls and straw hat which suggests that he owns a cornfield in that cartoon. It might also be "A Hunting We Won't Go" in which the fox and crow hunt each other for a rich reward. The crow from your wide screen shot looks he's wearing a hunter's uniform... but it could just be a disguise to fool farmer Fox in which case it might still be from "Way Down Yonder....".
How do I know plot synopses for cartoons I've never even seen, you're probably asking? Simple. I own the book, "The Animated Film Encyclopedia" by Graham Webb (which I HIGHLY recommend, by the way). It contains credits, plot synopses, etc. for EVERY cartoon produced between 1900 and 1979. I found it to be a veritable gold mine for cartoon information. Heck, I bought it a year ago and I'm *still* reading it non stop.
Sorry to make a "shameless plug" ;) but I thought that may be of interest to some people here.

Any guesses on where my new avatar is from?

I'm a little late this week, but here is my final classic rock themed avatar/title/signature (for now at least). Next week, I'll start doing my favorite movies.
