This line has been used in a number of WB shorts, and I've seemed to really notice it in shorts directed by Bob Clampett. Does the line refer to anything specific in that era, or was it just a recurring favorite of WB cartoon staffers?

P.S.: in Clampett's "Baby Bottleneck", the line was "I'm only 3½ seconds old!" :D

This was a 'steal' from a character done by Red Skelton

It was used by Bugs in Friz Freleng's "Big House Bunny", or some version of the phrase.

A variation of this line was used in "Falling Hare" also, one of my favorite Bugs lines.

Don't forget "I'm only 93 1/2 years old." in "Baseball Bugs".

I also remember a Heckle & Jeckle cartoon (can't remember the title) in which a baby bird said it over and over and over.

I think that might've been "Cat Trouble". I'll have to check my copy, since that has a baby bird in it.
