what elements/ stories from the comics would you like to see incorporated into JL?

I think it would be cool if Lex Luthor were the President in the later seasons of Justice League.

I would like to see:

Panic in the Sky (Brainiac takes over War World and plans to use it's power to destroy Earth)

Tower of Babble (Batman's information about the JL's weaknesses falls into the hands of Rhas al Ghul)

The Death of Superman (possibly as a made for video movie)

hmmm, it seems unlikely Lex will be elected President in JL.

As it stands, wasn't he outed as an outlaw? He was tried and jailed for his crimes.

Here's something I'd like to see:
after Lex goes to prison, Wayne Enterprises buysout LexCorp.

Not only has Superman jailed him but now Bruce Wayne causes Lex to lose face. Lex swears revenge against Wayne, not knowing Wayne is The Batman.

I'll have to wait to see Injustic For All.
I'm not yet sure if I want Lex to be President or I'll like him as an outlaw.

President Luthor would've been a REAL interesting factor to the JL's plight.


I'd like to see some Cosmic elements. So far we've had crime, magic, sci-fi. Some cosmic presence would be nice: enter The Spectre.

The Tower of Babel sounds like a keen idea for a 3-parter.
Ra's al Ghul is a great villain and would be a real joy to see in JL.
Plus he's one of the few Bat-villains that'd work on this series.

I'd like to see Ra's employ Faust, to assist him finding an ancient secret: a relic, a scroll, a temple, something!
Or perhaps Dr. Fate fighting Faust.

Or Poison Ivy using her influence over Ra's & his network. Both dream of a warm, green Earth. In this story, Talia jumps sides, turning to Bruce for help. He in turn calls in the JL to foil Ivy's plan.

I'd like to see Brainiac take over the watchtower and trap the members inside: Kal, J'Onn, Flash, & Hawkgirl.

An Aquaman story: Starro invades and conquers Atlantis. Aquaman barely survives, uses the underwater entrance to the Batcave to alert Bruce & the JL.

I'm curious to see Ares, God of War.

we need some input from Thanagar, perhaps one of Hawkgirl's old enemies escapes from Thanagarian justice and travels to Earth to destroy her.

Hopefully, Mars contains more secrets to contribute to the show...perhaps another survivor, corrupted by his amazing powers.

A Flash-Batman story would be cool. Flash's enemies turn-up in Gotham. I'd like to see Barbara's reactions to Flash's advances.

I don't know if I would incorporate famous DC comics titles like those into JL exactly, but I certainly would like them to be used to inspire stories. Like The Death of Superman, for example. I want that complicated mess happening again as much as I would Spiderman's clone stuff. :)

That Tower of Babel idea is great, and my favorite mentioned so far. I'd really love to get my hands on the comic version of it too.

Plus Ra's in JL would do a lot for Batfans' egos, because of course, only Batman would be able to take him

How about an episode where John Stewart is out on patrol w/ J'Onn, cruising in the Jav-7, when they pick up a radio transmission for help. They track the signal to its origin, a planet ruled by Sinestro, powered by his yellow ring.

Unfortunately, the GL Corps has no jurisdiction. By law he can't act. He travels to Oa to report his findings, however the Guardians' hand are tied as well.

John can't act against Sinestro BUT J'Onn can. This would give us an opportunity to see J'Onn in action solo. Sinestro gave Superman as serious beatdown in "In Brightest Day", however, w/ J'Onn's phasing & morphing abilities & jedi mind tricks, he should be able to give Sinestro a run for his money.

Harboring a criminal.

We all know the Main Man never runs from a fight. However, something's got him spooked...enough for him to trek across the stars to find Superman. Kal agrees to help Lobo. Add J'Onn to the mix for obvious reasons. In this ep, we get some more backstory on Lobo & his life on Czarnia...before he destroyed it. Enter...The Spectre!!!

OR...

The Spectre & The Demon Etrigan wage war against one another and not even the combined strengths of the JL can stop their feud. Paging Dr. Fate!!!


I'd like to more international locales: Japan, Europe, Antarctica...

Or how about an ep where Ra's enlists the aide of Felix Faust to unlock an ancient Egyptian power...to which the key is Hawkgirl.*

*assuming they use the Egypt-Thanagar angle for her origin.


What kind of story would bring Green Arrow into the fold?
I'd like to see The Hitman too. Refresh my memory. Tommy has X-rray vision, can read minds, and is strapped to the teeth. Am I missing anything?

And just for to satisfy my curiosity, Aztek. Lots of people on the board prasie this guy.

I think Swamp Thing should get some run too, possibly Season 3 or 4.

Welcome to the converted, friend.

Aztek would of course have to be my first pick - the character was incredible and the added back plot of Lex's money could add to the JL series. Also the an arc could be done that would lead to the shadow god (as long as he doesn't die this time around).

The Spectre - I would love to have the long forgotten STAS Christmas episode adopted to show MM and WW the meaning of Christmas. We might even get a glimpse at MM's family as he remembers a holiday on Mars.

"Transformation" - what happens when Superman begins to have strang power surges and eventually changes. This would all occur as Darkseid makes his return to Earth against what he believes to be a lesser powered Supes - would he ever be in for a surprise!

Tower of Babel - nuff said.

Those are just a couple of ideas off the top of my head.

Guardain Wings - Hawkman travel's to Earth in search of a Escaped Criminal.

Forgotten Hero - After a massive blow to the head. Willy Watt loses all memories of when he was The Flash and goe's back to his normal life. Can Batman think of a way to get Flash's memory back before it is to late?

Night on the Town - It is a quite night in Gotham. Ofcourse until The Joker,Poison Ivy,Two-Face and The Riddler escape from Prison and go on a town wide Crime Spree. Will Batman,Batgirl,Robin and Nightwing be enough to stop the villains or will they need some reinforcements?

An idea:

The Ocean Master and Black Manta instigate a war between the Atlantean city-states of Poseidonis and Tritonis. Will King Orin and the Leaguers be able to stop the fight from spilling into the surface world? Will Lori Lemaris be able to fight back the advances of a hormone-driven Flash? ;)
