I was at K-Mart. I saw this video for only $1.99!. It had a cartoon that I desperately wanted, Bars and Stripes Forever. I decided to buy that video right away, for that one cartoon.

Here are my comments:
The video was recorded in SLP mode. All the cartoons except the first two had sound fuzziness. There were no dubbed versions. It is nice to finally have a decent 1941-42 closing.

1. Hamateur Night. The oldest cartoon on the video. The video was titled after this cartoon.
2. Bars and Stripes Forever. AAP version with opening shield (opening scene #1) missing. All other titles were there. I didn't see anything un-pc in this cartoon. Why doesn't Cargoon Networm air it?
3. Fox Pop. AAP version.
4. Fin 'N Catty. The newest cartoon on the video.
5. Gold Rush Daze. No comment.
6. Rookie Revue. AAP version.
7. Robinhood Makes Good. AAP version.

CN occasionally airs "Bars and Stripes Forever" on a one-shot Acme Hour, but it probably doesn't air, because of the use of guns and violence in the cartoon.

I recorded all the recent one-shot Acme Hours. I didn't see this on any of them. Perhaps you are talking about a one-shot Acme Hour in 1999 or 2000?

I'm not to sure, but I know I saw it late last year, or this year.

I don't think it aired this year. I have paid attention to all Acme Hours since late in December 2000, and it hasn't shown up.
