I don't know how everyone else here views this, but I always viewed Batman:TAS as an "exclusive" series (in other words, Batman in Gotham City vs. Gotham City threats; no crossovers, cameos, aliens, etc.) and Superman:TAS as an "inclusive" series (crossovers, cameos, and aliens aplenty!). :)
Using that standard, I always viewed "World's Finest", "Knight Time", "The Demon Reborn", and "Girls' Night Out" as Superman:TAS episodes, even though Batman was in them. In my mind, this satisfied my need to keep Batman:TAS pure Batman, but allowed him and his fellow characters (including Gotham City itself) to appear on Superman:TAS. (Well, since Superman has so many other crossover, cameo, and aliens epsiodes -- Flash in "Speed Demons", Green Lantern in "In Brightest Day", Aquaman in "A Fish Story", Dr. Fate in "The Hand of Fate", Lobo in "The Main Man", etc.), that makes Batman 'just another' hero guest appearance. Also, it allows Superman to have a few more episodes, and roughly allows Batman and Superman to have a 2:1 ratio, respectively, in their individual series.
So, when I break down Batman:TAS and Superman:TAS in my mind, it goes like this:
The Dini/Timm DC Universe (1992 - Present)
------------------------------------------------------
Batman: The Animated Series .... 108 episodes, 2 movies
Superman: The Animated Series ... 55 episodes
Justice League .................. 52 episodes*
Batman Beyond ................... 52 episodes, 1 movie
-------------------------------------------------------
TOTAL .......................... 267 episodes, 3 movies
And counting!
*Justice League will likely be renewed for a 3rd Season; it just hasn't been made official yet.
**This list doesn't count the two spin-off series "Static Shock" and "Zeta".
*** Paul Dini (storywriter) and Bruce Timm (animator) have been working together on their darker, more realistic animated version of the DC Comics Universe since 1992.
What do you think? Does anyone agree with me? :D
