You see I haven't been able to get into the forum over the past few days because I couldn't conncet to the server. So this morning whil I was asleep I had this weird dream about how I came on to the boards and DG, had sent me a messege about how my IP had been banned for posting inappropriate stuff, that had sexual overtones (I'm guessing it was my post about Outlaw Star which I changed to PG), but oh well I;m here.

What an odd, but sorta funny dream. And don't worry -- yer safe. Ya gave readers a warning on the post so all is good. :)

Similar thing happened to me last night. I guess the dream isn't unusual for it's content, as it's clearly an anxiety dream explicitly related to my new position:
I dreamed DG sent me note saying that my first duty as a new mod would be to adapt the William Faulkner novel "Light in August" into a Batman screenplay, for posting on the Fanfic board. I sent back a fairly hysterical note demanding to know who he thought he was (and who he thought I was) that he should give me such a bizarre task. Then I set to trying to do it; I woke up thrashing in frustration because the job was impossible. (The effort of trying to write in the dream also gave me an all-too-real headache.)
Funny thing is, I've never read "Light in August." But I was just reading in a biography of the director Howard Hawks that when Faulkner first arrived in Hollywood he asked for a job writing Mickey Mouse cartoons. I guess the Faulkner-toon connection stuck in my head.

This is an easy interpretation. You either post too much or you are worried about not beeing able to log on or fullfill your duties to the boards. All I can say is take up a sport or ask for someone to unglue you from the PC screen :D ;) Hee-hee-hee....Sorry couldn't resist :D

My anxiety dreams are too obvious to be very interesting. So, f'r instance, when I was in grad school I dreamed that, as part of their nightly plot to take over the world, Pinky and the Brain broke into my computer and revised my dissertation draft. I was horrified to find the changes, and my adviser was not amused when I explained to him the next day that the next chapter wouldn't be ready because of two lab mice bent on world domination. . . .
