Have had trouble getting in lately

Sorry about the long pause between posts. I've had trouble getting into the TTTP, since last week. I see the message, "Finding site", and the modem lights blink for a few seconds, then go out. Eventually, there's an error message.

What could be the troubles?

I've been having trouble, too.

I think I have some idea of the reason why. I never have trouble getting on to the main toonzone page. I think that's because the address contains "www." But when I click on the forum link, I can't get on most of the time. I think that's because the forum address does not contain "www." Maybe if they changed it so everything had "www" in the address, then it would be easier to get on.

I haven't had any trouble getting in during the last few weeks, but I have noticed another problem. On the rare occasion that I post a weekday Bugs & Daffy show, I have a very hard time replying to that post. I usually need to wait until later in the day to post my comments. That only happens when I start the Bugs & Daffy thread. Yet, it doesn't happen with Acme Hours!

I've had trouble too, it usually locks me out for about a day, then lets me post for a day or two. I havn't been able to get into any other part of Toon Zone for weeks, though.

Today, August 5, is the first day I've been able to access the forums since July 30.

Glad to be here. Just wish I had something more interesting or pertinent to post.

If you have problems getting through to forums.toonzone.net try this URL instead:

http://216.40.214.33/vb_install/upload/index.php


This usually works for me when the forums.toonzone.net isn't letting me connect...

Don't worry, we're both back on...as well as are others who responded..

by manually editing the c:\windows\hosts. (note: NO extension) file on my machine, and making entries not only for "forums", but also "looney" which was also coming up empty from Juno.

The last line should not have a 'new-line' at the end of it, so put one there and then enter:

216.40.214.33 forums.toonzone.net #yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss

where the part in italics represents a date and (24-hour format) time probably slightly in the future from when you're doing this.

The entry for "looney" has the same number but uses looney.toonzone.net for the name.

I'm relieved to have actually had company enduring this lunacy, wherever it started from...

I have also had some difficulties accessng the TTTP, especially from work. I did find a shortcut, however. I use the link from Jerry Beck's website and I haven't had any difficulties since.

I can't access the Toonzone home page or Jon Cooke's looney.toonzone.net. I am also unable to view the Kids WB schedules on toonzone.net. There is obviously a problem with this website.

I can access these forums without a problem.

That was then. Now, I can access Looney Tunes and Shows, but still can't access the main page.
