Welcome New WF Moderator: Maxie Zeus!

Hey everyone again,

Well, this is important announcement. Well, Maxie Zeus is now the newest moderator to join the World's Finest crew! Late last month, BrianUK stepped down from the duties, not having enough time to properly look after the boards,. DOn't worry -- he'll still be around as usual! I did an exhaustive search as to who can replace him in our five man crew. The answer came down from the heavens! Maxie Zeus has accepted the position of being the 5th member in our moderatore group! So, a nice round of applause for the newest mod on the board: MAXIE ZEUS!!!

Expect an announcement next week on the fate of WF.

WELCOME NEW MODERATOR MAXIE ZEUS!!!! as DG said you were truely SENT FROM THE GODS to moderate our boards. Hope you enjoy doing it, just dont pull a Power Trip, like in "fire from olympus". Just kidding, i just felt like pretending you were actually your character name, cause i rarely do that. but seriously, no hurling lightning bolts at us mere posters, got that, or i'll have to send a nasty ball of radiation your way, plus an army of hitmen and a deadly virus. They certainly are. I posted my thoughts on the BB board, but lemme tell ya, Maxie is a real upstanding, open minded poster, and that's just what these boards need to keep them going through the battles the site's had to fight, as in the past.

As you can see, I'm celebrating my elevation (how weird does that sound, the King of the Gods getting a promotion!) with a new avatar. But don't let it throw you. Compared to some deities, I'm a real pussycat.

Or, to change metaphors: No one will ever mistake me for John Wayne in "Rio Bravo," but I do a fair imitation of Don Knotts in "The Andy Griffith Show." (Let's see how it long I can go without accidentally banning myself.) But then these boards are about as well-mannered as Mayberry on a summer Sunday afternoon, so no real worries, eh?
