Interesting show...
Wacky Blackout (WB- Released 7/11/42)
Shoein' Hosses (Fleischer- Released 6/1/34)
Porky's Movie Mystery (WB- Released 3/11/39) (edited?)
Pip-Eye, Pup-Eye, Poop-Eye An' Peep Eye (Fleischer- Released 4/10/42)
Fish Tales (WB- Released 5/23/36) (1937/38 opening music used incorrectly)
Porky's Hero Agency (WB- Released 12/4/37) (UNCUT!)
Pudgy Takes a Bow-Wow (Fleischer (Betty Boop)- Released 4/9/37)
I thought at first that Fish Tales was just the redrawn with the color turned off, but it definately is the B/W version! Now if only they would show the computer colorized version........ and it looks like it was probably done in 1990, because of the freeze framed title cards.

Did they show the full credits including Warner shield for "Wacky Blackout", or did they open on the Looney Tunes Title card?

There was no shield zoom on Wacky Blackout, the cartoon started on the middle of the first title card (screwy- ain't it?)

The redrawn has (had? was it lost?) the proper theme, I wonder why couldn't WB have
salvaged it for this version? Does the CZ version have the proper theme (it's in E flat, IIRC) ?

It was nice to see Porky's Movie Mystery and Porky's Hero Agency after the June Bugs fiasco. At least somebody still cares.

The music used in the opening of "Fish Tales" was lifted from the opening soundtrack of "Rover's Rival". I also enjoyed seeing "Wacky Blackouts". I haven't seen this one since Nickelodeon aired it in the late 1980s.

"Fish Tales" is one of those cartoons where they just can seem to get the music right -- when Warner's send out the redrawn copy in the early 1980s, some versions had the wrong end title music (taken from "Little Beau Porky") attatched.
Then, when the copmuter colorized version came out -- which was done off the print shown on LNB&W -- the end music was right and the opening music was wrong. And when they remastered "Little Beau Porky" for computer colorization, they added the end title music from "Porky the Wrestler." Go figure.
Also, as far as LNB&W went last night, the stupid "fake iris out" the Turner people put on the B&W Popeyes removed the end gag from "Pip-eye, Pup-eye, Poop-eye and Peep-eye." Seymour Kneitel would be crushed since that was his writing/directing opus from the final days of the Fleischer studio.

Am I correct in that this was the first time "Wacky Blackout" has aired on LNB&W?
We know CN has a B&W "Porky's Romance" as well, aired only once previously on a late night B&D. I hope that'll be shown some time soon as well as other as of yet unaired B&W LTs. ;)
