International Sci-Fi Shows

KTEH (http://www.kteh.org/), San Jose's PBS station, has asked for opinions on what new sci-fi programs they should pick up. Unfortunately, all anyone can suggest are old American and British shows. The world is bigger than that. Alas, I don't have much access to global media. I know a great deal of science fiction TV comes out of Japan, but what of the rest of Asia, Europe, Africa, and South America? India has the biggest film industry of any country in the world; don't they make any sci-fi?

I'm just asking.
