I know this isn't everybody's first choice for must own DVD, but I certainly liked this movie more than I thought I would when I saw it in the theater. And it is coming to the true format on October 17th, truly a day to mark on your calender!

For those of you offended by the movie, there is an edited version on it that is PG. It is three minutes long. But for those of you who aren't saying, "Yeah, that's still three minutes too long!" the movie will have commentary with Tom Green, Harland Williams, Marisa Coughlan and Rip Torn. I am looking forward to hearing this commentary. Rip Torn has gone on record as saying that Tom Green is one of the best director's he's ever worked for, and that's coming from a man who's been acting for about fourty to fifty years.

Also on the DVD, they will have "MTV excerpts." I am hoping that these excerpts are truly uncesored. There will also be eight deleted scenes, a making of featurette, and the usual trailers and TV spots.

I saw it and thought it was the worst, messed up, disturbing, horribly done movie of the year. Worse than any Freddie Prinze Jr. crap. I thought this was a flat out horrible movie. Just bad. Just a lame excuse for him to do one diotic stunt after the next. THis is something I'd rathar burn that watch.

I thought the movie was going to be the worst thing ever. I was expecting one mad skit after another, with not much plot to hold it together. I really liked the story behind it, with him trying to become an animator. You know, the characters had heart in this movie. Well, I think Tom Green's character and his father's character were the best written, but the movie did kinda fall flat on characterization for some of the secondary characters. It is not my favorite movie, but it was better than I thought it would be, and I would like to listen to the commentary, especially to hear how Rip Torn responds to the negative response this movie got.

The movie was called this year's Battlefeild: Earth and even tested lower than it. Out of 78 reviews, FGF only got 3 positives. Out of about 80, B:E got 8. But everyone has their own taste. I can see how this movie would find it's nitche in the DVD market.
