Wow, after a whole week I've finally been able to log in!! This "server update" had better be finished soon, I'm getting a little annoyed with only being able to read the WB news ONCE A WEEK!!
On another note, a telephoned the Columbia House customer service dept. asking about my order which they naturally screwed up (yet they ALWAYS seem to get me that promotion crap without a hitch :mad: ). In the activity what they had done was re-activated my account at my request due to the five new WB collector's tapes coming out. However, even though I had already received Vols 1-10, they started sending me the same tapes over again..... :mad: Well, the important point of this is that I asked about Vol. 11 ("Wacky Wabbits"). They told me that it was on BACK ORDER!!! Huh? aren't they the ones that produce these videos... who do they back order it from? In any case, for those of you who are expecting this video they told me it will be another three weeks or so before they anticipate its release.
In addition, I also received the Abbot and Costello tapes (very funny, yes indeed), and want to comment on the Woody Woodpecker cartoons found therein. It's obvious that these are new, restored transfers, and they've never looked more vibrant, but they used the bloody stupid DVNR on them and wrecked them!!!! Oh well, I suppose I should just be happy that they are coming out a few at a time.
Lastly, as for my avatar, well..... maye I'll wait until this coming Sunday to change it, since I couldn't get online since last Friday...!!
