See subject. I have always loved his cold, same tone voice for his Brainiac character. Just wondering since they got many voice talents to reprise their roles.

Do you mean for JL? If so, i don't think they're gonna have any villians from the characters' individual shows except Joker and Luthor. And each of them, i believe have the same voices.

Yeah Braniac wasn't listed as one of the characters they're planning to introduce into JL. So we won't see him for Season 1 for sure.

I swear I thought he was going to be in it. Oh well, thanks for the info! I remember Bruce Timm though saying that we would see some surprise villians, but that he wasn't gonna say who. Maybe Brainiac?

What I believe Timm meant was that they're planning on bringing back a bunch of cheesy villains from the 60's & 70's and revamping them, just like they did with Mr. Freeze back in BTAS.

I wouldn't mind seeing Brainiac showing up at some point, but personally I'd rather see Ra's show up first.

I'd be genuinely surprised if a minor villain or two from the previous shows popped up for a quick cameo... maybe along the lines of Batman kicking the crap out of Two-Face before getting called away to stop an alien invasion or whatnot. Still, I'm an optimist.

Stan Berkowitz is already working on an Amazo story. We hope to bring back Aquaman, and we might catch a glimpse of Brainiac or Dr. Destiny. But these are just hints of the things to come. I don't want to spoil the fun. So stay tuned! The action is just beginning!

I'm just giving this thread a bump as this might mark the return of Corey Burton. I hope that the possible Braniac appearence is similar to "Panic In The Sky." In fact "Panic In The Sky" would be a great way to not only show what's happened to Braniac, but to check up on other STAS characters. Also, who's Dr. Destiny?

Dr. Destiny is a skull faced villain who can bring dreams to life I believe.

Brainiac is a pretty good bet to show up at some point. He was listed in the Cartoon Network press materials and Corey Burton has gone on record saying that he'd like to reprise his role. All they need is a story to bring him back in...

Wow, how far back did you have to dig to find this topic? Not that I'm complaining or anything. :) Something tells me Corey Burton will be back.

I'd put my money on yes, not only will Brainiac show up eventually, due to the fact that he is a villian from Superfriends that has already been revamped. It should be interesting to see if they revamp him once again with a new design. I'm not sure what Corey Burton is doing, Pinky & the Brain has been off the air for years.

Corey Burton does a few voices for the upcoming “Legends” episode. He plays a villain named “Dr. Blizzard” (whom I suspect is a re-named Icicle), a Mayor, and an Ice Cream Truck Driver.

I believe he voiced one of the aliens in “Secret Origins” as well.

I would love to see Corey Burton return as Brainiac. I like most of his voice work. Including Dale from Rescure Rangers, Ludwig Von Drake, and Moliere from Atlantis.

Corey Burton also voiced Ranger Smith on those Yogi Bear cartoons that John K. did for Cartoon Network.
