What new shows would you like to see on Adult Swim? Whether it be comedy or action, it doesn't matter.

damnit!
i thought we could do it, i thought we could go a week with one of these, or a BRING ____ TO ADULT SWIM thread, but nope, we can't. sin't this topic against the rules? and if it isn't, it should be. we have far to many topics like this.

well... this is wahat i have to say. when i think a show would be good for adult swim, i ask people what they think of it, but i never do some, when are they gonna show it thing. and mosti mportantly i never blankly ask people what shows they want. but i'm still guilty of doing roughly the same thing. so i cannot complaine about this.

If Cartoon Network is going insist on showing Smurfs, they should be on adult swim. The subject matter is inappropriate for children. See my post in WBC for details.

What shows should come to Adult Swim? Small World, Gumby, Spawn, and Fritz the Cat.

- a show based on the comic book, Hate, which Mission Hill seems to be sort of ripped off from
- Beige Middle-Aged Toiletry Squad, about bathroom products that solve mysteries with their talking dog
- a show based on the adult comic strip, Family Circus. they could run it right next to that adult TV show, Baby Blues.
- a show based on Daniel Clowes' old LLoyd Llewellyn strip, about a Beatnik who battles weird supernatural beings
actually, the current line-up is pretty good. like the hick said, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."

They have to edit that movie alot to air it on Cable tv since it's a NC-17 movie.

It was originally rated X and was eventually downgraded to R. But still, there's a lot of stuff that CN won't be showing anytime soon. In an ideal world, it could go on AS. In a realistic one, no. No way in hell would it make it on AS in any form. If they edited it to fit on AS, it just wouldn't make sense.
Unless you're talking about Nine Lives Of Fritz the Cat, which I haven't seen but sounds like it could make it.

Lets see... my ideal ASA lineup would be:
11:00 Scooby Doo
11:30 Bugs Bunny
12:00 Pilot Candidate
12:30 Pilot Candidate *Pilot Candidate hour! Wouldn't that rule!*
1:00 Jackie Chan Adventures
1:30 Pokemon
I also think they should can the pseudo-host voice that tells you not to watch. Instead, let the Telletubbies host, if they still exist that is.

Agree about too many threads on this topic. I am considering merging them into one offical thread. It's not that we discourage the discussion, but perhaps later on when I have more time I will merge them into one offical thread. Until then, closing duplicate. Feel free to continue the discussion in an existing thread about this topic.
