Amazing Ignore List
How Sweet Thou Art
To Spare Me From a Twit.
I Used to have to read his drivel
But no longer can I see it…
:D
I hope I'm not on your ignore list now:eek: , but that was a cute song. I find it fun to re-write the words to Disney tunes the most, though.

Admins and Mods can't be ignored (which is a very nice board feature), so he can't escape our own brand of drivel!
Here's another board feature I bet none of you knew about... go to the main board page and click on "Currently Active Users". Big brother is watching...

Speaking of which, I noticed the 'IP logged' notation on posts.
Isn't that a bit of overkill for a 'toon message board?
d
just because you're paranoid doesn'r mean they're NOT out to get you...
I never clicked on that before, sort of creepy. For a moment there, I thought you could monitor all out internet activity, like seeing our e-mail, other board (as in non-Toonzone boards) activities, ect. (yes, I'm paranoid)
I've never used my ignore list, I havn't found anyone that intolerable. Besides, I'm supposed to be a moderator, and one can't moderate without being able to see everyone's posts.

You still see "IP: Logged"? I thought I got rid of that except for Admins and Mods.
I don't see "IP: Logged" anymore.

Jack - You don't see it under "Report This Post"? I might have screwed it up. It's not an actual board feature; I had to hack it in.
Happyheathen - The feature exists because it's the only effective way of banning someone. When an IP is added to the "banned IP" list, a person can't even access the board. Although it's never had to happen on the TTTP, at least five people on the WF boards have had their IPs banned.

Nope, I didn't even notice it was gone until Heathen mentioned it.

Brian:
why does blocking an IP addr work? Wouldn't someone using a dial-up get assigned a (more or less) random IP at connection?
and to be nosy: can admin/mods see 'stealth' users?
Soggy -
don't worry, differences of opinion don't get one added to the list, just unbridled idiocy...
