Is there some reason that CartoonNetwork doesn't play this one? I've been watching for a while, and while I've seen many other Tweeties come and go, this one hasn't aired. Of course "Bird in a Bonnet" hadn't and it showed up last weekend. Is it part of that "ABC" series I keep hearing about?

Its most likely because the whole cartoon is about indian's/native american's.

I love the cartoon it really shows Grannys ruthless side

It was airing on the Turner Networks (CN, TBS, and TNT) when they first got a batch of post-1948 cartoons (from the Kids' WB package). This was before the ban of anything featuring Indians or a certain Mexican mouse. The cartoon takes place in the old West, where Granny and Tweety are attacked by Sylvester and a tribe of Indian putty tats. It is a very funny cartoon.

It was a good Tweety cartoon that PC took away from us. If it wasn't for that nice man "Goopy Geer", I never would have seen it!

I was lucky to tape "Tom Tom Tomcat" off Nick during the early 1990s and I'm glad I did. It is a very funny and violent cartoon with lots of gunshots and explosions. The fact that all the cats are of Indian descent takes back seat to all the great violence.

CN most likely won't even show "The Oily American", "Porky's Phoney Express" or even "Nothing but the Tooth" because of Indian characters. I'm glad I taped "The Oily American" & "Porky's Phoney Express" off Nick also.

By the way, when was the last time CN broadcast "Slightly Daffy", the color remake of Clampett's "Injun Trouble"?

I don't know about "Slightly Daffy," but CN does air "The Oily American" every so often. On late night showings.

You made a careless error. Slightly Daffy is the remake of Clampett's Scalp Trouble.

The REAL remake of 1938's Injun Trouble is Wagon Heels, which does get some airtime.

Thank you, Sveven. I stand corrected.:)
