This was a great opener for this show.
Simon is just plain rude and the chemistry between him and paula was great. And Tamika was funny. I will definately watch it again.

Cool! So.....where was I at the time? :p

I hate these flippin' shows, and FOX even more. Are they going to make a new one of these things every summer? There are only so many pop stars I can handle you know.

Eh, Making the Band with O-Town was better. Atleast O-Town seems pretty smart, some of the people on this show looked like they were out of their minds!

Paula Abdul was one of the judges. She is still hot. (Remember that video for Cold Hearted Snake?) :D

I don't usually watch these things, but my brother said it would be funny and lo and behold...he was right! The only thing I didn't like about it was that guy Simon. What a jerk! As far as the people auditioning, I'm sure that there were a lot of them that are actually good singers, but nerves prevented them from giving their best. They get around 20 seconds of time, then Simon tells them to get out of his face. The only people I thought were really pathetic were the ones that sang badly, but thought they were great or had the attitude of "you're a bunch of idiots if you don't pick me!" For someone who detests today's boy "bands" and pop music in general, I was very entertained by this, much to my surprise! I might watch the next episode, but it seems as if they've weeded out the really entertaining people. It will be interesting to see if they pick someone who really is a strong singer, but doesn't really have the looks, or if they'll pick a good-looking person who isn't a great singer. Unlike Sprite, with this, image is everything, I bet!

You guys have absolutely no talent whatsoever; no amount of practice will make you better--you are all a lost cause. Might as well give it up. ;)
