Who played ths glorious Jem of perfectness? huh? it wasn't just me i hope. I think Golden Sun si the best portable RPG ever, untill tactics hits of coarse. The way i see it if Golden Sun would have came out on the SNES it would be huge right now, like Final Fantasy. So anyway, who played it. who's looking forward to the new one, which comes out in like three weeks in japan, and what level are your characters? leveling up is tough after level 30 but you get spiffy spells in the forties.

I have Golden Sun and I haven't beat it YET ! I bbought it in January and haven't gotten out of The Desert in 3 months !!

Golden Sun is the greatest game for the GBA at the time. I'm at the very end in Venus Light house and I can't beat the Fusion Dragon. It's so hard!

Golden Sun is one of the best for GBA right now, I bought it a few months ago and enjoyed it greatly. I can't wait for the other RPG's that they're starting to port to the system.

I got it in January, stopped playing in March, then just went back and beat it last week. My characters were just under lvl 30.

And, it's the BEST game for the GBA out now. I don't know how Tactics will be (never played it), but I'm sure it'll be good too.

It's an excellent, long, very involved game, but it seems like it's been ignored by the general public. Then again, I suppose that could be simply because it's a handheld game...

I've beat it like five times. as for the fusion dragon, have one character (i use mia because she has pure prayer.. or whatever its called) heal your party while the other three use normal attacks, if you're around level 28 or up you'll be fine. if you're at level 47 like me, you will be a victorious godlike creature with heath and pp to spare.
I plan to bulk up to level one hundred over the summer. becuse yeah.
also the room before the drop onto the plantform that takes you to the top of venus light house has some neat items that are dropped by enemies. like the holy mace and the unicorn ring, items i don't think you can get anywere else. the holy mace is the strongest weapon i can find for mia that isn't cursed.
also, and this is by the way info, if you don't have the gia blade yet, get it, it will help you beat the fusion dragon. it's in the sand maze section of venus.
if you haven't noticed i like to talk about Golden sun, none of my friends have played throuht it yet... ahem Rhydant... so i don't have anyone to talk to it about, not that i dont just talk about it anyway, but no one cares.

ill have plenty of time to play it when im working for GameStop. you on the other hand will be waiting tables for crappy customers at Sizzler or red lobster or whatever.

btw, did you mom get those pictures developed yet?

I've got it, and so far I've been enjoying it, but haven't beat it yet. My new job keeps me too busy, and I haven't played any of my PS2 or GBA games for severalmonths now. Someday I'llget back to them....

I bought it when it first came out. I love this game. It's definately one of the best RPGs on any system. I can't wait for the sequel. Maybe it will be for the Gamecube, or at least link up to it. I'd like to see those attacks in 3D, since they already look great in 2D.

the sequal is for the GBA, but maybe they would do another one for the GC that would be nice.

The sequal is called golden sun: the lost ages, In my nintendo power it looks like you play ivan. i'm not sure about the gamecube, but its coming out. :)

i believe that at some point you play with the character from the first game, but i think that at some other point you play as felix and jenna.
