Hey everyone,

You may wonder why there hasn't been many updated to World's Finest in the past couple of weeks. Well, aside from the mini-vacation I took, it's becuase I've been prepping the site for this fall to go into sort of a stasis mode. WHy - becuase when I go back to school in five weeks, I won't be able to update the site anymore. I still will be able to update the newspage daily, as well as moderate the boards. The boards are something I'll never let go of and the newspage is just too important not to keep on my schedule. The site, though, is the one that has to suffer. I've been trying to keep the site regularly updated by myself for the past few months, since RobinIII has been ultra-busy with his animation gig.

Anyways, this fall I'll be editor of the University newspaper, as well as a FROSH leader and have a possible late-nite radio show on the campus station. BTW - FROSH is a group of senior students who initate the freshmen student. Nothing harsh, just games and activities. Well, back on topic - this upcoming year is VERY important for my future in Journalism. Being an editor is going to be a demanding job, and I don't think I'll be able to do it successfully if I have about 20 pages a week to update on WF. I will always put an hour or two aside for the newspage and will keep a constant vigil over the boards. I do a new mod coming in (hopefully) who'll take a small amount of the burden off my shoulder, but I will always be here to help with any problems.

I still will update the site on occasional weekends and holidays with reviews and stuff. I'll try to keep some pages consistently updated, like the Comic Previews page and the Justice League Episode Guide. Some sections will be sehlved, while the others will be just put on hiatus. I will be trying my best to get alot of the current pages updated within the next month so just please be patient. I'll be working through all the sections and stuff trying to get everything to a point where it can be safely left. This next year is very important to me and this is the best decision I could come up with short of closing down the site or handing it over to strangers, which I could never do. Trust me - writing up this post is painful enough!

So, if you have any comments, questions, or anything please reply. I'm be making this post "Important" for the next week or so and will post it on the three WF Discussion Board so everyone will see and have a chance to ask questions. Well, that's all for now.

Sure man, i understand. Jounalism is what you want to do. And besides, aside from the boards and the newspage, i never read anything that was always being updated.

Which is sad, but true. From what I've read, most people only go to the boards and newspage and totally neglected to check out the whole site. James did an excellent job with the entire site. Best luck with the editorial job.

Oh no, i'm not saying i haven't checked out the site. I'm just saying i never read anything like the often updated comic reviews, because i don't read that many comics. I'm just saying that if he stopped updating everything, the boards and newspage are the only two that i'd really miss. Just because they are the only constantly updated things i read. I only meant that if he could only update the other stuff on long breaks or something, that would be okay. I've probably seen everything this site has and i love it! I agree that DG did a fantastic job. And i know you'll be a great journalist!

Good luck with whatever you do in the future man. This site is already an example of what you are capable of! (With the help of many other people, of course.)

BTW, what university do you attend?

You won't close the site will you DG? I had a hard enough time as it was when you moved it... hey, the best of luck to you. I understand the whole important year thing, this is my big year too, but to a smaller degree. I'll be a junior in all honors classes in my highschool, including one course in history that is AP (suposidly it's going for college credit or sumthing). Any way, I hope to see you around whenever. Please, just keep the site going. Ever since I found this site I've loved it. The peeps are great here, and it would be a shame to lose it. Any way, good luck and see you around.

Hye - I'll still be here and so will the site. I just won't be on as much. I'll try and make a daily visit, which I should be able to do ibetween a couple of classes hopefully. The site will remain open as a resource to all the fans out there. I'd never close the site. The newspage is finally hitting it's stride and the boards ar emor elively than ever!

This year seems to be a busy year for EVERYONE! This is gonna be a stellar year. I can't wait! I'm gon make an announcement next week about the fate of the site!

Best of luck and congrats, James.

As a webmaster, I've been continually amazed at how much you were able to get done every day on your site, the news, the message boards, the reviews... my head is spinning!

If you focus that energy on journalism for a while, you should expect a Pulitzer by Christmas.

If there's anything I can do to help out here, in some small way ('cause I'm not capable of more), let me know.
