How would you rate it from 1 to 10 stars?

I liked it being ABC order and I like Bugs Bunny so 10 stars.

I was not pleased with this year's JB event, as CN failed to give the fans the cartoons we wanted to see after CN lied and screwed us over last year. They should have made up for this year's event( with no bigtime promos) and could have shown the 8 censored BB cartoons with no problem, but CN can't seem to do anything right with their classic cartoons anyway.

Well, as a newbie, I did increase my Bugs collection from about a dozen on the computer to having practically everything except "Mississippi Hare" in some form or another. The bumpers were cool enough to include on the tape(s) when I was around to pause between commercials! Also, I saw some shorts I haven't seen in twenty years or so.

Next year, I'll be more jaded and crusty like most of y'all. I'll expect them show the verboten ones or I'll scream and yell.

I wish CN would drain the pool (axe A Dull Swim!) and show full versions of classic cartoons that are normally sanitized for kids for two hours instead. Naturally, they should warn the ninnies out there that people who can't handle a real cartoon should turn to Tomb Disney! :D :p

No, no, what we need here is to trim off the bad and keep the good...I, for one, enjoy Adult Swim Comedy (Sunday nights). What we really need is a Toonami Network, where all the stuff from Toonami, "midnight run" and Adult Swim Action (Saturday nights) could go. This would make the Toonami fans happy, and it would free up a lot of much-needed time in the CN schedule, time which could be used for "Toonheads," "Late Night Black & White" and yes, restored classic LT/MM (perhaps in that nice, big, prime-viewing-time Saturday night spot). :bosko:

A Toonami channel is a good idea. Japanimation is a totally different universe, anyway.

Better still, I'd pay a few more bucks a month to Directv if a station devoted to showing nothing but theatrical cartoon shorts from all studios in their entirety was available. Premium stations can show controversial material without the grief CN would get, and with no commercials.

Turn on as many as you can to the way classic cartoons used to be. We need the numbers if we wanna be heard! :bosko:

[indent]I liked it, I had my TV tuned to it almost nonstop all weekend. I especially liked the change in format. Due to the whole A to Z thing they basically could not bury some of the cartoons in the middle of the night since they were airing them in order. This made them much easier to catch. While they may not be showing all of the cartoons yet, progress is progress. June Bugs 2002 gets a thumbs up from me!

Well, I went with six stars. I'm glad that CN slipped in two of the Censored cartoons from last year's June Bugs.

Alas, I have no cable at my parents house where I am for the summer. I can't vote in this poll, because I didn't see the marathon. I always miss June Bugs. Maybe someday I'll see it. :(

I give it three stars just because Cartoon Network took the time to show so many classic cartoons. The banned cartoons I wanted to see were not shown. I don't like alphabetical order very much.

Bitter, aren't we?

But of course you know that none of this is CN's fault. It's the ridiculous demands of WB that kept them from airing the 12 before, and they can only get away with airing so many during June Bugs.

If they aired all 12, WB execs surely would've noticed. And getting WB execs mad is DEFINITELY playing with fire.

Well it's not like WB could just sit there for over 30 hours on their butts and watch June Bugs on CN just to make sure they don't show certain Bugs cartoons. Probably true, but don't they have OTHER important things to do?!
