Zim was born in an alien cell, cracked open onto the planet Irk. But as stupid as it sounds, Zim was an Irkan too.
As a baby he was very troublesome, and had to be watched every minute, on the minute. One day Zim swallowed his dad's rocket keys. Another day, he ate his mom's apron.
A age 2 Zim had said his first words: "I WILL RULE THE UNIVERSE WITH AN IRON FIST! YOU! OBEY THE FIST!" His parents were so proud they used a time machine to record Zim's powerful first speech.
Later at age 4 Zim was able to attend school. He was picked on at first by the other Irkans 'cause he was the shortest kid in school. Even the teachers made fun of him. How embarrasing is that?
All throught grades 1-6 Zim didn't do to well. His usual G.P.A. was 2.00, a resounding C-.
One day Zim finally recieved his dream to become an Invader. The Allmighty Tallest (Irkan Empires) were preparing for Operation Doom: 1. Zim did shoot to be an Invader (even though he was still a teen and no where near adult age), but the Tallest figured he couldn't do it. And, they were right.
During O.D. 1 Zim was supposed to destroy planet Krypton, but Zim knowingly came close to destroying Irk. The Tallest had no choice, but to ban Zim from Irk. They sent him to Food Courtia, where Zim could serve french fries. Or become a janitor which is what really happend.
For one year Zim spent sad moments at Food Courtia. He never had enough money to pay the rent for his apartment, his boss picked on him like Mr. Spacely, and he was never promoted for doing a good job cleaning the floors. He never did.
Meanwhile, back on Earth, the Irkan Empires decided redoing their invasion scheme, knowing this time Zim wouldn't be in their hair. But, Operation Doom 2 was publiced to well, and word got out to Zim about the new invasion takeover. Zim quit his job at Food Courtia and high-jacked a spaceship and hight-tailed it back to Irk.
