Yes it was. See, CN couldn't skip over this Bugs Bunny fan favorite. ;) :D
Now let's see if any other surprises air during the marathon.

Now we have to call it the "Bugs Bunny Censored 10." Hopefully, the numbers can get smaller and smaller (like the "Bugs Bunny Censored 3" or so). :) ;)

Technically its the "Bugs Bunny Censored 9" if you count the fact that "Herr Meets Hare" aired in the Wartime special.
Allen's Nickname.

Last year started the Bugs Bunny Censored 12:
1) Hiawatha's Rabbit Hunt
2) All This and Rabbit Stew
3) Any Bonds Today?
4) What's Cookin' Doc?
5) Bugs Bunny Nips the Nips
6) Herr Meets Hare
7) A Feather in His Hare
8) Mississippi Hare
9) Frigid Hare
10) Which Is Witch?
11) Bushy Hare
12) Horse Hare
During June Bugs 2001, CN aired "What's Cooking Doc?" The Wartime Toonheads showed "Herr Meets Hare" and June Bugs 2002 featured "Frigid Hare".
Hope that helps! :)

Should ANY BONDS TODAY? actually be considered a Bugs cartoons? Sure it's got Bugs in it, but I doubt CN would play something 1.5 minutes anyway. Unless the put it as a bumper for June Bugs late at night......:p
You wanna know what the sad part about this banning is? I've seen all of these cartoons, except ALL THIS & RABBIT STEW, BUGS BUNNY NIPS THE NIPS, MISSISSIPPI HARE, and WHICH IS WITCH?, air on CN. :(

Don't confuse the Bugs Bunny Censored 11 with the regular Censored 11 (Confusing, I know.)
The Bugs Bunny Censored 12 were 12 toons that weren't going to be aired on June Bugs last year, but What's Cookin' Doc eventually made it into the marathon after all, making it just a Censored 11 after all. These are the ones that Cartoon King has listed. Some of those listed have been shown on CN since last year, such as Hiawatha's Rabbit Hunt and Frigid Hare.
The Censored 11 are LTs that were deemed unfit for broadcast back when they went into syndication in the 60s.
The only cartoon that makes both lists is All This And Rabbit Stew, which features Bugs being chased by a black, large-lipped hunter a la Elmer Fudd.

I also noticed that they took out the "Eskimo Pie-Head" line, which I think cleans it up enough to be shown a little more regularly.

You mean 8 Banned cartoons. Hiawatha's Rabbit Hunt = June 30th at 7 am.

Don't know about any of the others, but I doubt "All This and Rabbit Stew" will ever see the light of day on CN.

They also cut out the "I won't have to back to woik till 1953" line as well. OK, maybe it's dated, but look how many old theatrical cartoons show calendars or newspapers displaying the years in which they were made.
For that matter, look at THE OLD GREY HARE. Boy, what a gyp! It's two years later, and I still don't have a Buck Wodgers Wightening-fast Wabbit Kiwwer! ;)
Even though FRIGID HARE was part of the original 1968-90 Saturday AM network package, I never saw it on CBS till around 1981. Istead of the usual title card and cute jingle, the cartoon was preceded by the original theatrical title card (sans credits) accompanied by Stallings' traditional 'snow/cold' theme. It was if it was stuck back into the rotation at the last second.
Perhaps CBS originally suppressed this short (Eskimo stereotypes?) when it reacquired the package in 1975. There were other shorts aired by CBS and ABC through '75 that disappeared from TV at that point (BACKWOODS BUNNY, HORSE HARE, BUGSY AND MUGSY, THE UNMENTIONABLES)- probably due to controversial themes. After all, the last two feature gangsters!
Others reappeared- often edited- when ABC reacquired the package in '85: BIG HOUSE BUNNY (prison), MISSISSIPPI HARE (gambling), DOGGONE PEOPLE (drinking), DIXIE FRYER (Southern stereotypes?), THE DUCKSTERS (miscellaneous mayhem), PERSON TO BUNNY (smoking). What's in the parenthesis are my possible theories as to why CBS passed on these shorts during WB's second stint on that network.
