What cartoons do you really hate, but love because of one particular scene? Here are some of mine:

Count Me Out- the scene with the Tex Avery voiced ref, Egghead's Charlie McCarthy impression ("Imagine meeting you here. Small world after all, isn't it?") And, the part where the teacher tells Egghead to hold his breath, teacher's phone rings, teacher leaves, and Egghead stays there still holding his breath to where he turns blue and almost passes out.

From Hare To Eternity- The M. J. Frog cameo is about the only funny part in this cartoon. Oh, yeah I also like Sam's line: "Never take a rabbit's advice." You'd think Sam woulda learned that 50 years ago.

Rabbit Transit- Bugs doesn't trust Cecil Turtle that he will race fairly. So he turns Cecil upside down and a scooter, a bke, and skates come pouring out of his shell, and Cecil comments, "Well, whattaya know?"

Any others?

I mentioned Suppressed Duck in the other thread. One good gag is enough for me to remember a cartoon fondly, even if it otherwise stinks.

I'm sure there's other examples of that.

I am a Pepe LePew hater, but the heart shaped island makes me leave the cartoon with a better feeling for it.

I'd have to agree with Sveven Dvorking, the heart scene is a highlight of "Touche and Go," a cartoon that (IMO) has little going for it. I like it and all, there aren't many cartoons I hate, but it isn't too interesting. I also like Pepe's rendition of "How Dry I Am."

Having seen "Box Office Bunny" for a fourth time now, I'd have to say I like it more than I used to. I still would never call it "great," or even "really good," and it's not I'd seek out if I were bored one day, but the scene at the snack bar is sort of funny.

Nobody knows, how I am dry, nobody knows, or wonders why....

I WAS A TEENAGE THUMB is an awful cartoon, but for some reason, it always makes me laugh when one of the guys says the "a" word.
