While watching Shonen Knife's "Buttercup (I'm a Supergirl)" video on Groovies this morning, I noticed some Japanese subtitles for all the characters (Blossom, Bubbles, Buttercup, Mojo Jojo, et. al.)
What are the Japanese names for all the characters, and how are they pronounced?
Also, where can I get the lyrics for "Buttercup (I'm a Supergirl)"?

The PpG's and villain's names are exactly the same in the Japanese dub, they're just spelled in Japanese in the video (I know this because I can read Japanese). :D

Oh, if you want the Supergirl lyrics, you can either buy the "Heros and villains" Powerpuff Girls CD or try to find them on a lyric or Powerpuff website
Hope I could help you out. :)

The japanese powerpuff names are the same I think. I watched the japanese PPG into and they said Blossomu Bubbles and Buttarcuppu or something like that.
I think somewhere the names are Dolly, Lolly, and Molly I think.

The names are all the same, but they're pronounced differently, since Japanese words can't end in consonants, and there are interchangeable letters. If you wanted to romanize the names, they would look extremely strange.
Example: "Blossom" would either be spelled in romanji as "Burasomu" or "Bulasomu", since 'r' and 'l' can be switched, and are practically the same sound. The 'o' would have the long tone like in "lone" instead of the 'uh' sound it has when said in english.
Capice?

Eeww, I hope not! Those three don't need *any* additional cuteness.
Every time I watch the video, I try to read the subtitles, but they go by too fast.
It's the same names, just converted to be compatible with the Japanese alphabet.
Something like burosamu, baburusu, batakappu. Something like that.
Mojo Jojo = Mojo Jojo

I think that Dolly, Lolly, and Molly are the Spanish or Dainish names for the girls.
From what I know, the Japanese names are Blossamu, Bubblesamu, and Buttercappu.

Dolly, Lolly, and Molly are the italian names. On Cartoonnetwork.com, theres a link to forign CN sites (thats how I found all the forign names). The French names are the wierdest:
Blossom-Belle (means "pretty")
Bubbles-Bulle (means "bubble")
Buttercup-Rubelle (?)
The only ones I don't know are the Spanish names. Are those different?

Actually, I think Buttercup's French name is "Rebelle," which just about describes her nature, sort of brash and rebellious.

The only name different in the japanese version is "Him"'s. In the japanese dub he's called "Kare". But "Kare" is japanese for "him" so in a way it's not changed at all.
