The following is an extract from Canoe.ca that highlights a day in the life of WWE Diva, Trish Stratus:

Trish Stratus enjoyed a rare opportunity to sleep in yesterday. Right up until 9 a.m.

Then it was a quick breakfast, complete with vitamin supplement, a 45-minute cardio workout and a shower before jumping into her rental car to head up Highway 2 from Red Deer to Edmonton.

The World Wrestling Entertainment diva got a little lost trying to find Skyreach Centre, but no worries. She made it to the building in time to start preparing for last night's episode of RAW.

"Usually I just roll in in my sweats, but I knew I had to meet you and get my picture taken so I had to dress appropriately," laughed the Toronto-born WWE Women's champion.

Stratus walked through her match - a tag-team tilt with Spike aginst William Regal and Molly Holly - before heading into the diva dressing room for a little "prettying up."

"The beautification, the process, takes a while," smiled Stratus. "I'll spend about a half an hour with the makeup lady and she'll set my hair. Then I'll get dressed. It takes about 45 minutes to get ready."

Getting the match itself down can also be a drawn-out affair. With thousands of eyes watching live and millions more watching from home, mistakes have to be few and far between.

"We have to go through all the pre-tapes and see what story we're trying to tell and then we'll go into the ring and see if there's any physicality we have to go through," she explained.

After the match, Stratus cleans up a little, slips back into her car and either makes her way to a hotel for the night or gets right back on the road for the next stop on the tour.

"It's a pretty hectic day," she said.
