Kurt Angle told a Jacksonville, Florida television station that he has decided to take part in the 2004 Summer Olympics. He stated that he will begin training in December of this year for the event. Angle had said before that his contract with WWE allows him to take two years off of his pro wrestling schedule to train for the 2004 Olympics. "I'm not too old and I feel physically good" Kurt Angle told News 4. "I feel like I'm peaking." He also announced he and his wife are expecting their first child in December.
If Angle does infact make the cut, how will he do?

Wow that's pretty cool of him. Hopefully he'll win it again. Though I'd assume he's a bit out of it do to his lack of greco roman wrestling in awhile. It's gonna suck not having him in the WWE for awhile though. He's one of my favorites.

Kurt Angle is the best. I hope he's not gone for two years. If he does well in the Olympics I think it will translate into him winning back the world title when he returns. How can they deny the two time two time two time Olympic Champion?

As as a fellow resident of Southwest Pennsylvania, however, If he does this, I wish him the best of luck.
