Since today is my birthday, I thought this would be a fun thing to discuss—what are your favorite birthdays memories? What age were you turning? What made that specific birthday so memorable? Was it the cool place you visited, that incredible gift you received, or other aspects of your special day that made this particular birthday one you’ll never forget? Do tell. And remember, this is a party atmosphere, so there’s plenty of cake, ice cream, candy, and soda to enjoy. :D (Now who’s bringing the creampuffs? :p )
EDIT:I pressed 'enter' before I could finish my subject title. I wanted my subject title say, "It's My Birthday-- Come Share Your Favorite Birthday Memories." May a mod please fix it? Thanks.

Happy Birthday, Livewire! Consider the title fixed. :D
Getting back on track...when you asked for birthday stories, two immediately came to mind (and both involved food...maybe I should go eat something).
When I turned 15, my parents took some friends and I to a place called Hudson's, which was a '50's diner-themed restaurant. It was a great-looking place, even had those old fashioned gas pumps and the front of a Cadillac embedded in the wall. Anyway, instead of a cake, I got a sundae with 7 different kinds of chocolate in it. And if that wasn't enough sugar, I got a little cardboard pink Cadillac full of candy. I guess that's why to this day I can drink Mountain Dew with no ill effects. :o
The other one was more recent, my 21st birthday - we went to a place called Shogun. It's one of those Japanese-style restaurants where they fix the food right in front of you. I had never been to one of those restaurants before, and I kept hoping our cook knew what he was doing, otherwise my whole family might come home with their eyebrows singed off. That didn't happen, of course, but we did have some extremely good food and a great night out. :)

Happy Birthday, Livewire!! :D Now, let me go cut a piece of cake. ;)
Back when The Lion King was in theaters, I went to see it on my birthday. And even though it's probably not one of my favorite movies, it was still a great experience. :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Livewire! :)
One birthday comes to my mind and it was when I turned 18. My cousin took me out to this bar and to my surprise all my first cousins with their friends and mine were their and one of them was a barmaid at the pub. So I got free drinks all night. They even asked the DJ to play my favorite song. But what made me teary eyed was that they surprised me with a bouquet of flowers when singing happy birthday to me. :)
Vodka anyone? :D I blame them for introducing me to liquor drinks. ;)
The next day my best friend came over and she and I went in town to have a day of fun.We saw a movie and ate out.

Happy Birthday Livewire!! Hope you're having a really great day!
As for memorable birthdays...hmmm. This year was pretty good, actually. I just turned 16 a little under two weeks ago (May birthdays are the best!! :D ) and I got to drive to school on my birthday. It was a lot of fun!

Happy Birthday Livewire :)
Memorable birthdays? Well mine is Jan 3, which was more often than not the first day back to school after Christmas vacation, so that's my most distinct memory.
Other than that, my 21st was pretty good...actually now that I think about it I don't remember all that much about it so it must have been darn good! ;)

Happy Birthday, Livewire! :D
Er... I don't know if I have a distinct memory of my birthdays.... I guess the time when my mom came to my birthday party was pretty cool, I guess. :)

Happy Birthday Livewire...
I don't really have any memorable birthdays. I guess the time when I turned 9 and my parents took to out for pizza and they gave me a video game for a gift.

I don't remember having any good birthdays. They are always on either a school day or a busy weekend day. :(

First of all, happy birthday. Couldn't see that one coming, could you?
As for birthday memories, I don't really have any that stand out, with the possible exception of "Chuck E. Cheese" escapades when I was a toddler. I remember being scared to death of a "pit" filled completely with balls, and became somewhat sufficated beneath the feet of fellow toddlers.
...okay, so my childhood is/was a bit frightening. :p

My lame B-Day memory: We went to see Batman: Mask of the Phantasm... we were the only ones there. It was nice.

Happy Birthday, Livewire! Have some e-cake.
The only birthday I can really remember (and, therefore, the best one) was going to see Jurrasic Park with a bunch of my friends. God, I still love that movie.

Happy Birthday Livewire...
Have a great time on your birthday...
My birthday memory... Let me think on this one.... Best one was when all of my friends came over and we played man hunt, video games (Snes), basketball, hide-and-go-seek, soccer, computer games, and ate lots of junk food :D... Heh I was only 8 back then...

Happy Birthday Inque (17), Ariena (16), Livewire (19), pjfilmer (18), Anarky (25).
Last year a roman candle exploded in my hand. Luckily it wasn't the part I was holding it by. If I were holding it a few inches higher I probably would have lost some fingers. I was so drunk I didn't even realize what a close call I had (or drop the candle) for a few seconds. :o
Happy Birthday to Inque (17), Ariena (16), Livewire (19), pjfilmer (18), Anarky (25)! Save me some cake guys. :)
My favorite birthday was when I had a party at a place called Frankie's Fun Park in South Carolina. I invited all my friends, and we had a lot of fun. We played arcade games, rode go-carts and bumper boats, then I got to open presents. I got a lot of presents, and I loved almost all of 'em.

Hey, happy birthday!!!!
For me, I was around 7 or 8... (the morning of my birthday) I went on "present patrol" when my parents were in the garden. When they came inside, I had already opened all my gifts and were playing with them. Got a Sega Game Gear......

Happy (belated) birthday!
I haven't really got much in the way of birthday memories. I do remember going miniature golfing once, but that's about it. . . .

I can second that going to school after Christmas break is no fun. I usually have my party on my Dad's which is the 9th so that it won't be on a school night! Happy B-day anyway.

Thanks for the birthday wishes, everyone! I had a terrific birthday! :D
I went out to this wonderful restaurant; the food was very, very good. And one of the gifts I recieved were Prismacolor Markers , and since drawing is something I love to do, I was estatic! Professional artists use these markers and I was stunned and so happy when I recieved them.
I had a great 19th b-day, made even greater by you guys. Thanks! :)
P.S. And thanks, Singin' Stray Cat, for fixing my title. :)

Prismacolors! You lucky duck, I wish I had some Prismacolor markers. Or Tria. One of those :(
Happy Birthday to everyone's birthday who I missed. *sheepish*
As for my favorite birthday memories, let me think...
When I turned 15, and I went to a laser tag place for my party. Cake and guns.... very nice combination.
When I was 17, it was a very good year..... it was a very good year for smalltown girls and-
*shoe hits Nightflower on the head*
Anyway... :p it's just a small memory. It was my 17th birthday, a school day, and I was walking up to my locker in the morning. My friend meets me halfway up the hallway, and tries to engage me in small talk, all the while her eyes darting wildly (Think shifty-eyed dog from the Simpsons). Behind her, I can see my friends swarming about wildly, madly giggling, while my boyfriend waved at me. Like I said, it was just a little thing :)
On my 18th birthday this year, I had a very nice birthday thread on this board. :) Awwww *gushes* My best friend bought me a lotto ticket. I lost, but it's the thought that counts.
After my birthday party, I got sick and missed a day of school. When I came back and opened my locker, there was this huge honkin' box of 3-pt speakers and a note saying "To my sexiest of b--tches, Happy Birthday, love Jon" (best friend)

Here's my happy birthday memory...on my 9th birthday i got hit by a car.
Well it was actually just the mirror of the car. The mirror broke off on my side, and i was sent flying face first into the sidewalk. Luckily I ended up with only a few cuts.
BTW, my dad still has the mirror off the car to prove it. :D
