The things I dream. I had this crazy one last night:

picture Skreech & Urkel living together in an apartment.
They have a 3rd roommate, actually more of a moocher: ALF. While the boys were out in the woord camping, ALF's vessel crashed to Earth. Stranded, he agrees to return to the city w/ them.

The boys try to keep ALF under wraps, especially from their iron-fisted landlord: Mr. T (I pity the fool who doesn't pay his security deposit!!!)

their neighbors across the hall were two foxy Japanese-American women, mid-20s. One had long, jet black hair. The other had short, ear-length red hair. They have a talking Siamese cat who taunts ALF from across the hall.

Both work for Boeing in Seattle, WA. Skreech does data entry, mainly inventory & stocking. Urkel works on projects. This works to ALF's advantage because they have access to parts & technology that cold get him open. So on the wkds, they work on ALF's vessel, which is stored in the building basement, in a hidden room even the landlord Mr. T doesn't know of.

While they work, ALF stays home, thinking of ways to eat his smartmouthed feline foe. But he passes the time watching tv, making a mess, and making prank phone calls to Dr. Frasier Crane's radio show. Roz lets him thru because he's a good phone flirt and because she enjoys the way he unhinges Frasier. He considers Frasier his "hobby".

And no sitcom is complete w/o the nosy elderly woman neighbor: Estelle Getty!!! Our favorite Golden Girl is the only other human to see ALF. Everyone thinks she's a crazy old broad.

anyway, crazy dream huh?
anyone else here ever had a wacky sitcom dream???
please share.

I'm moving this over to the Cafe Toon Zone board. It's so wacky, that's where it belongs! :D

Well I have never had a sitcom dream, but my sister had a real weird one a while ago.

The Brady Bunch, led by Jan Brady, were trying to kill her. Since then, she has been afraid of the Brady Bunch (mostly Jan) since then. Its sort of funny that she fears that show now :p

I remember I had a dream that the Munsters came to my house and took my grandparents hostage or something. So, my only way to escape was to run to the van and drive it over to the police station to tell the cops. The grandpa person was running after me while I was driving it away when I woke up.

I don't know. I was in 5th grade when I had that dream, so..... yeah. :p

Anarky, your post literally has me laughing out loud. In the unlikely event that I were you, I would drop the illegal substance now and run for the border.

Personally, I've had Cheers dreams before (laugh it up!), but, luckily, I don't remember any of them. Hey, at least I haven't had any---that I know of, anyway---that feature the characters having cliche dream sequences... in a dream. That would just be beyond confusing.

I was in a canoe with the Facts of Life girls on a sea of decomposing human bodies mooshed together into mush. The evil possessed Tooty and she assaulted me. Then the announcer said, "Toon in next time, when you see Tooty looking at you, and then she starts jumping on you." That was when I woke up. I was a little kid when I dreamed this. I also used to have dreams about the cast of The Electric Company and the Devil.

:-) No substances. Probably just the ill effects of May Sweeps: all these reunion shows like Cosby, Mary Tyler Moore, and the self-congratulatory NBC 75th anniverssary special...

Call me crazy but i think my sitcom would work. there's already an audience for these timeless characters. it'd be hella funny. I'd watch it. In fact, maybe I'll shut my eyes right now. HAHAHA!!!

the other day, i accidently had my tv on Hangin w/ Mr. Cooper. I think his name is Mark Curry. Anyway, he and Holly Robinson (from 21 Jump Street fame) were arguing in the kitchen. I had to do a double take. I swear that was the same kitchen from Growing Pains (the Seavers). If anyone gets the chance, check it out. I wonder if they're using the old Seaver set: kitchen, living room, etc...Probably the show's budget forced them to use an old set.

I only saw 2 episodes of that show but one of them explained that!

He was talking on the show, it was one of the first episodes, in the beginning before the intro he was saying how they had to use the Growing Pains set while they were setting everything up, and then he showed the audience a tour of the new set.
