I've heard this year the cartoons will be shown in order by director and that's all. Anyone know which cartoons have been extracted? I noticed this year CN hasn't shot off their mouths this year about showing every Bugs cartoon like they did last year. So that must mean they're trying to keep things quieted down and hidden from public view. Perhaps it's a sign???

Two things not to look foward to this year's June Bugs Marathon 2002.

1.The Bugs Bunny censored 12 "WILL NOT" be shown this year!

2.Cartoon Network will also not be presenting Jerry Beck's Toon Head special "Twleve Missing Hares" for this year's event.

So whatever you hear CN stating that every single Bugs cartoon will be shown, don't believe it, as there will be nothing special about next month's event.

Does anyone besides me think that Cartoon Network got the format right last year by having the cartoons run in chronological order?

Oh, I definitely do. I generally like things better in chronological order than anything else, so I would much rather have it this way. However, I missed most of last year's showing, since I was away on vacation. This seemingly happens every year, but thankfully, I'm vacationless this summer. Hey, at least there's an upside to it.

As for being shown in order of directors, I'm somewhat against that concept. I mean, I like a little variety in my Bugs cartoon-viewing. Afterall, it's a bit of a jump from a Clampett cartoon to a Jones one to a Freleng short, then back to a Jones one once more. It's an odd jump, but not nessecairly a bad one. It works. I just can't see the lack of variety working.
