So, this oncoming fall season, just about every network is getting a Saturday morning revamp? Oh glorious day! :D SO, the big question is, are Saturday Mornings worth waking up for again?

FoxBlock offers a series of shows with action & comedy. Cute & fluffy, plus rough & tough. Colorful and...DOOM! With the various video game properties, as well as some more original anime(as in..not monster..). Plus...ULTRAMAN!!! Heh, I've been wanting to see some form of Ultraman for years..I'll enjoy it, even if for one episode....

Kids WB will continue to delight us with their various shows which we've been enjoying for the past 5 years or so, while all other networks have been serving steamy plates of crap. :D

NBC & ABC are getting revamped with action shows and programs which people will actually WANT to watch(Saved by the Bell MUST DIE!!).

Even cable networks are planning on having good shows on Saturday mornings...GOOD shows..mind you.... ;)

SO, are Saturday Mornings going to be worth waking up for you??

Personally...YES. heh...and especially if Toonami restarts a "rising sun" thing, and puts He-Man & Transformers on in the morning. Getting up on Saturday morning to watch those two shows again(well..in a brand new sense of the term new....), will be a blast from the past most of us here would love to see.... :D

Well, technically, it's not going to be a "Toonami" "Rising Sun", per se, it's going to be more of a Saturday Afternoon anime block, which will actually start late Saturday Morning with the tried and true "Dragon Ball Z: The Early Years 'Saturday SuperBlock'", which will then be followed by a NEW "Dragon Ball 'Power Hour'", making that three-hour anime block- I may change that umbrella title in my book before the revamping two weeks from tomorrow- the "Dragon Ball Franchise UltraMega Saturday Pack"!
But that's not the only change for Saturday. CN's overhauling the whole Saturday daytime motif!
As of Saturday, June 8, the lineup will be:

6:00 AM "Boomerang 'Spotlight Year' 'Sneak Peek' Show"

7:00 AM "Looney Tunes Show"
10:00 AM "Samurai Jack"
10:30 AM "Justice League"

Both the "Boomerang" block and "Looney Tunes" are being trimmed Saturday Mornings. :bosko:
