Finally about 3 hours ago i got out of Hood Jr High for good!!
Why do i call it a nightmare? Because of the things i've had to endure the last two years which was basically.
Damn Uniforms and Constant Teasing(This year especially)
In three months i'll be in High School and except 7th grade i aint gonna miss Hood at all

You had to where uniforms in middle school? Wow, I stopped having to where uniforms when I left elementary school in 5th grade. Mine was a white shirt and blue slacks. It was pretty cool to where, but I was glad I had to stop wearing them...

Thank G-d, when I moved to a different school for 8th grade, we didn't have uniforms. However, I had to endure that torture from 3rd-7th grade. Meeeeeemories....

My HS is considering uniforms. And spike i feel ya. I HATE my HS,
and I plan on transfering Senior Year, that way I can compare classes and If the classes at my new school are worse than the ones at my old I'll go back and just put up with the all the people I don't like, but pretend to for popularity's sake.

I am lucky, my High School has not enforced school uniforms... in fact, we used to wear the school's uniforms for (get this) the pool. In gym class, we would get, wear, and hand back, swimsuits... Yuck, I know. Finally, after countless complaints from parents and students, we were allowed to wear our own suits.... but still, I can imagine the horrors of standard uniforms. But, it does have good points (or so I've heard). My High School has brought this up in meetings every year. And as for the horrors of middle school... *freezes, eyes start to tear* ...it was like Survivor. Oh, the horrors I saw.......

thank the Lord, our HS doesn't have a uniform. yet. We have a strict dress code though, but it sure beats a uniform. a month or two ago, they showed us what the uniform would look like and man, it was UUUUUGGGLLY! girls HAD to be in skirts (and these are long, below the knees skirts) and a collared shirt. Guys HAD to be in dress pants, a collared shirt and/or a vest/sweater type thing. and it all had the schools' logo on it, so we (the students) knew that it would cost mucho dolares. ugh. they're not going to do the uniform next year, though so, there still might be hope...

I think the only good point would be that the student doesn't take a half-an-hour to figure out what to wear to school. It also saves your clothes, and you don't hafta do laundrey that often.
:o Whoops. {runs away from Spike Mcdougal}

It saves money. That's the only plus to it. I wouldn't mind Uniforms so much actually but I don't tell other people that.

I think that the "positive" part of uniforms is that they limit creativity and prevent the occurance intolerably high levels of fun.
I had to wear uniforms from 1st grade through 6th. I used a clip-on tie up to 5th grade, then I got to use the real thing. Navy blue pants and a light blue shirt. Blech.
We did get to wear different clothes for the day when we had Gym each week. That was a good day. :D

Ah why did you tell me the good points i told you not to!!!!
Anyway i only have one regret. Since they blocked the hall off yesterday to make sure everyone got out i couldnt say good bye to my science teacher. I wish i used the "I left my sunglasses with her." excuse because she was cool...........................and attractive :D

Oh, I don't know. I really can't see myself hating wearing uniforms that much, considering how I dress doesn't concern me.
Meh, I'm odd... :p

I've never had to wear a uniform- and I never would. So wait, did you go to public school and you had to wear a uniform? Can they do that?

Damn Uniforms and Constant Teasing(This year especially)
Call me weird, but I like being told what kind of clothes to wear. That way, I don't get teased about that. At least there is no school logo on it. Constant teasing is a problem for me. I can only hope that gets better when I change schools for next school year.

Uniforms....*bangs head on keyboard*
I've worn a uniform since Kindergarten. That was twelve years ago. But then, I've gone to Catholic school since Kindergarten so it was required.
I only hate my uniform because I have to wear a skirt. Skirts are evil! If I could wear slacks, I would be so happy, and the Administration would yell at us less about our skirt length.
And you don't even want to know what the various uniforms I've had to wear look like.

In fact half the people at my school ware pajamas, Yea, I've seen people at my school wearing pjs and slippers. What's the matter with them?! Are they trying to ruin their slippers or something? Slippers are made for wearing inside. My friend's even gone to school wearing slippers...and then she complains about how when it's raining her "shoes" get wet... Um yea....wear regular indoor and outdoor shoes and that won't happen. She's such a dork. :p
As for uniforms...never had to wear them and I hope I never do.

At my HS they have uniforms and might I say they are snazzy. I have never been one of those who hated uniforms I personally never cared.
