In a few weeks the Toon Zone DVD page will be online, but I decided to create this board now instead of waiting. Although the DVD page will only be about animated DVDs, any type of DVD can be discussed on this board. Joining me in moderating this place are fellow DVD afficionados DickGrayon and calhoun07.
Later today I'll copy over some DVD posts from other boards, and give everyone a sneak peek at the Toon Zone DVD page!

Do you need a DVD player to post here?

Of course not! People without DVD players will repsond to DVD posts on the AniGen board now, with either questions or comments about the format. I'd hate to see this board become a DVD fanatic board, which is why I left other DVD boards on other sites, because the fanatics became so militant in their views it wasn't fun any more. SO feel free to ask, say, post anything you want about DVDs, movies or whatever.

What a co-incidence this board should happen to appear today. About a week ago, I got a laptop with DVD playback (which makes for my first DVD player, you see) and today I got my first DVD title --one of my animated favorites -- Who Framed Roger Rabbit. It's kinda like when the planets align, poit.

Time to get some more titles. And ponder that now not too elusive idea of making my own.

That's good news! I know you will love your DVD player! Post a review of Roger Rabbit once you get done watching it. That's one I don't have yet, amazingly, so I'd like to hear more about the disc.

This is a page for the Pinocchio DVD which I completed today:
http://www.toonzone.net/dvd/movies/pinocchio.html
The rest of the pages on the site will be similar to that one. I'd love to hear any opinions you guys have on it. Is the design and layout good? Is the information presented well? Is there anything else I can add? Please let me know in this thread. By the way, the banner on the top of the page will be changing, cause I've decided to cover more than just "classic cartoons" on the site.

Thanks! I copied every DVD post I could find last night. I may have missed a few that didn't specifically say "DVD" in the title, but I think I got most of them.
I made a few more pages for some older Disney movies I have. No reviews, but the techinical info is all there. Take a look:

I don't know if Craig and I will be able to review everything ourselves, so if anyone wants to volunteer (especially to review DVDs I don't own yet), I could probably use the help!
