I dunno about the rest of you, but I kinda like "Pikers Peak" 's ending with the OOMPAH band playing over the "That's All Folks!" end title. I find it to be quite clever.
Plus, it was the only cartoon I got to watch this morning before I went to work!

I Wanna be a Sailor
An early MM with a few surprising and annoying scenes. The little goose wants to go sailing, despite his mother's wishes. The goose character would later be used in the 1939 LT, It's an Ill Wind.
Porky's Duck Hunt
The first appearance of Daffy Duck. Daffy Duck acts totally crazy in this first cartoon, which makes me think that is how he was meant to be. This is one of the few cases where the computer colorized version has advantages. It is at the regular speed and has proper opening music, unlike the B&W version.
The Wacky Worm
This cartoon featured a worm that would later be used in the award-nominated Greetings Bait. The crow wants a worm, but loses many times. The crow gives up in the end. As another alcohol reference, the worm hides in it.
Punch Trunk
This cartoon is slightly overplayed on Cargoon Networm. A tiny elephant appears, causing many people to not believe their eyes. One of the gags in this cartoon is a man throwing down his eyeglasses when he sees the tiny elephant. A young girl keeps the elephant in her dollhouse, causing her mother to think she watches too much television.
I Wanna Play House
We got a third early MM today. This one has received plenty of airtime. Two pups play hide-and-seek. One of the strange gags in this cartoon is one pup singing "I've gotta sing 'cause I'm gay." I believe the counting system is goofed in this cartoon. I always found this opening title interesting, with both the concentric circles and the flag. Did The Cat Came Back also use that opening sequence before re-release?
Piker's Peak
Yosemite Sam and Bugs Bunny both try to climb the Schmatterhorn for 50,000 Cronkites. Whenever they fall back to the bottom, music plays. At the end Yosemite Sam is excited thinking that he made it to the top. Actually, he is on the top of the Eiffel Tower.
