We are about 90 minutes from showtime. Just one night after Judgement day what challenges lay ahead for the Undertaker now that he's champ? I'll say his future is Stone Cold.

Will the nWo get more pathetic?

Will Rob Van Dam be cheated again?

Will Trish look hot?

Aside from RVD landing on UT's face with the frog splash and that obvious camera angle in the main event, I liked everything here (especially Trish).

It looks like the Wolfpac might be starting up again. Maybe Booker T joining the nWo isn't such a bad thing now.

Does anyone like the fact that Eddie Guerrero and Austin are feuding?? I never seen these two go face to face so I look forward to their eventual match.

Quick question: I accidentally recorded Raw in SP instead of EP. Now that Excess is gone, which shows will recap what happened tonight on Raw and later on in Smackdown??

WWE Velocity (TNN, Saturday, 10-11 PM) which will cover highlights from SmackDown!, and WWE Confidential (TNN, Saturday, 11 PM - 12 AM) which will be a magazine-style show.

That's it in a nut shell

The WWE released a couple of new shows.

Previously, WWE Metal/Jakked showcased talent from WWE Smackdown. But now it has been replaced by 2 new shows. Each show will be syndicated and each will focus on either Raw or Smackdown.

Sunday Night Heat is currently showcasing talent from WWE Raw and will continue to do so. But now the WWE is adding a Saturday night show that will replace the first hour of Excess. This new show will focus on talent from WWE Smackdown.

To replace WWE Excess Late Night is the new show WWE Confidential. This show is merely a talk show that will have highlights from both WWE Raw and WWE Smackdown. Think of this show as the new Superstars program...only this time its hosted by Mean Gene Okerlund.

So here is an overview of the WWE's current shows:

-WWE Sunday Night Heat (Raw)
-WWE Raw
-WWE Smackdown
-*syndicated show* (Raw) [Replaces Metal/Jakked]
-*syndicated show* (Smackdown) [Replaces Metal/Jakked]
-*new saturday night show* (Smackdown) [Replaces 1st hour of Excess]
-WWE Confidential (both) [Replaces Excess Late Night (2nd hour)]

Dark Spider Note:

The WWE used to have a formula for shows...

-1 or 2 popular shows (for the Main Eventers/High Carders)
-1 semi-popular show (for the Mid Carders)
-1 syndicated show (for the jobbers/Low Carders)
-1 talk show

Raw and Smackdown were the 2 "Main Event" shows, Sunday Night Heat was the "Mid Card" show, Metal/Jakked was the syndicated Jobber show, and Excess was the talk show.

Now that we have 2 different "shows" on the WWE, each brand needs its own set of shows to fit the formula:

WWE Raw
-Main Event Show: Raw
-Mid Card Show: Sunday Night Heat
-Jobber Show: *syndicated show #1*
-Talk Show: Confidential

WWE Smackdown:
-Main Event Show: Smackdown
-Mid Card Show: *saturday night show*
-Jobber Show: *Syndicated show #2*
-Talk Show: Confidential

I find this little move that the WWE is taking to be unneccesary. The shows were fine as they were. Now there are too many shows to count now. I guess I'll have to live with the decision...

Before I talk about Raw I just want to say that Velocity will be the "Heat" of the SmackDown group and the two syndicated shows are recaps and feature no original matches.
Basically, Jakked/Metal is being renamed and replacing hour 1 of Excess. Excess is more or less being renamed, split up, and syndicated. WWE Confidential is all new with the returning Mean Gene.

Anyway onto Raw:
I thought the dedication to the Bulldog was really nice. :(

Trish did indeed look hot although Heyman gets more sick each week or as JR would call him "the human septic tank"

Hopefully the nWo will finally pick up now that it looks like Nash is back for good (even if he isn't wrestling right away). I like the nWo and I want to see it succeed.

The whole Stone Cold-Eddie stuff was interesting outside of the arena, but I was a little concerned seeing Eddie pretending to drink a beer. Feuding with the beer-drinking Austin didn't do Scott Hall any extra favors.

This stuff with Goldust is really entertaining.

It's good to see AA getting involved on TV.

I could see Raven and King fighting because they are the two color men for the Raw group, but it seemed a bit too "quick let's find someone for Lawler to fight in his hometown." I thought the divorce comments from Raven were a bit over the line and unnecessary.

What is wrong with Tommy Dreamer?

Lillian Garcia screwed up again. No surprise  The match was restarted, it wasn't a rematch. RVD never was the Champion. Undertaker retained, he didn't win it back. She even confused the King!

This was a good event.
The dedication was nice and Trish vs Jackie was good. even though we had to watch Brock Lesnar make his titties bounce.
The Eddie Guerro Austin thing is interesting. And the NWO could finally get good.

Raw was good this week. After seeing Trish I had to go home and take a cold show!

Let's be serious for a minute guys- Trish is hot every night.

Not a bad show if you ask me- supposedly Austin requested to work with Guerrero because he considers Guerrero to be the best worker in the RAW brand. This should be an interesting feud, as it is totally fresh and exciting.

The nWo has yet to impress me, and I hope it starts to do something new quickly. I do like the Goldust segments though, and can't wait to see a Booker/Goldust match.

Is anyone else REALLY sick of Brock Lessnar and Heyman? I want to slap them.

If RVD wins the world title(s), I will stop watching Raw.

pzcman

why?
rvd is a lot more talanted then the old guys that have had the titles lately...

Instead of restating my hatred for RVD, I suggest you go back to a past Raw talkback thread and read what I have to say about him.

Short version: He's going to kill somebody if he doesn't learn how to do moves right. That is exactly why he lost that IC title to Eddy Guerrero. Want more proof?? Watch last night's Raw at the beginning where RVD does his frog splash. Look at UT's head when RVD hits the frogsplash (and he has landed on the guy's head more than once so don't call it a one time thing). Oh, and I will also stop watching if Goldberg arrives (and if I really have to explain why, then I am disgusted with the wrestling fans of today).

If he doesn't get his act together (aside from the "I Don't Care" attitude), he will kill someone. You heard it here first.

I'm back guys. Wait I didn't say I was going anywhere for a day.

Rob Van Dam is the next Chris Jericho guys. Now I see why he didn't get the IC title back. It's below him now. Just like Triple H vs. Chris Jericho when the title was taken away from him minutes later. I see Rob Van Dam getting a big push and being put into the spot light where he belongs. RVD 4:20 is back.

Trish looked amazing.

RAW was a good show this week. Only one complaint. I don't need to see the Hardy Boyz once an hour. Why? Why? Why?
