This is old news, but yes - Kids'WB! will be airing DBZ eps for at least 5 episodes. It will remain on Cartoon Network of course, but this is the beginning of the cross promoting.

The don't watch them. Seems simple enough.

You might as well not watch that, even if you like DBZ. The earlier episodes are on video, and the later episodes still air on Cartoon Network.
By the way, I hate that show.
Down with Dragon Ball Z!

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that said that none of the Gundam shows will be on KWB.
That said, you guys hate 90% of Toonami anyway, so you may as well complain about Toonami being on KWB.

Ehhhh... I wouldn't say that. Sailor Moon is a little too fruity for some people, and Dragonball Z is tedious. But other than that, I like Toonami's lineup. The Big O rocked my world, and I dig me some Tenchi.

Fruity? Well...a couple of those girls (Uranus and Neptune) do swing the other way....
My brother claimed that the background music sounds like it was lifted off a skin flick--and I can see his point; if one closes one's eyes during a fight scene with a lot of female moaning--I'll stop before I need a cold shower. ;)
Need I mention again the immortal Twister scene? :D

I noticed how SM's popularity has waned in the past little while. The show is sorta girly, as it is supposed to be. I could barely sit through one episode. There's no way I'd survive more.

I would hardly call a show that kills off 90% of the main cast in the last season as "fruity."

Okay, it's grimly fruity. :)
And no, I don't mean fruity as a negative comment... you're talking to a guy who enjoys Samba de Amigo and Urusei Yatsura far too much. When I said that "it's too fruity for some people," I meant that a lot of people are weirded out by superheroes in schoolgirl outfits. That never turned me off... the show just never caught my interest.

When I think of "fruity," I think Strawberry Shortcake and little to no violence and lots of life "lessons." Okay, Sailor Moon used to have "lessons," but that was because of DIC.
I used to think Sailor Moon was a fairly silly "comedy" show...but after seeing all the depressing and grim plot twists of the original...I became a "closet" Sailor Moon fan. Bring on the bleakness, I say! I just love it when the creators emotionally torture the characters...
Yes...I...AM...EEEEEVIL!!! Bwahahaha...:D

Does SM have a new distributor now? Instead of DIC?

DiC has the rights to seasons one and two. ADV has the video rights to the edited DIC seasons. Pioneer has the video/DVD rights to seasons 3 and 4, uncut. The last season has yet to be released.

One of Beryl's generals during season 1 was a guy in the original, and a girl in the dub.
Which makes me wonder what would happen if he met his dub counterpart and they had a kid...

--with Fish in Sailor Moon. Which made his/her nude scene in the episode with the frustrated clothing designer all the more disturbing. Shades of The Crying Game.
As for reproduction--well, do you know how fish reproduce? I wonder if, as a human, "she" would carry and bear live children or just lay the eggs in the open and wait for...never mind, I've just made myself ill.
